Second chance [Beomjun/Yeongyu]

Part VIII

   "W-well, if you want to. I mean, tomorrow is weekday? Why don't you stay for the night? We can like, spend time yk? Like, talk things out or do things that's- Rina also wants you to stay for the night." YJ explained and he stopped when he heard BG's soft giggles.
  
   He looked up to the younger male to see him smiling towards him. "Then, can you show me the guest room?" BG asked and YJ's eyes lit up. "So, you'll stay for the night?!" YJ asked and BG nodded.
  
   "Here's my shirt. I don't know if it fits you or make you feel comfortable, I only have this kind of outfits. And oh! I have extra towels in the bathroom, so you can freely use any of it." YJ said. "Also, there's no need to stay in the guest room. You can stay in mine. I'll sleep on the couch." YJ said and BG smiled.
  
   BG stepped closer to YJ and took the clothes from YJ gently before walking inside the bathroom. YJ exhaled the breath that he didn't know he had been holding inside.
  
   After he had finished taking a shower, BG stepped out from the toilet with his wet hair and saw YJ was playing on his phone.
  
   "Hi, hyung" BG greeted and YJ looked at him with awe. The boy looked hot and cute at the same time, making YJ smiled to himself.
  
   "Hi, Beomgyu. Are you done?" YJ asked and BG nodded. "Come sit here." YJ patted the seat next to him on the bed and BG followed the invitation. He sat next to YJ and the older male smiled to him.
  
   "What were you doing?" BG asked and YJ smiled as he answered, "Hyunjin's sister texted me."
  
   "Your supposedly fiance?" BG asked with a smile and YJ sighed. "She's a witch. She cursed me a lot when I le-" YJ was stuck on his words when he realised that he's talking about the male right in front of him.
  
   "When you what?" BG asked.
  
   "Nothing." YJ smiled. BG pouted and YJ couldn't help but melted to that. "When I did something I shouldn't have done." YJ said and BG looked at him with a smile but he's seemingly confused.
  
   "What do you do in your free time though?" YJ asked and BG answered excitedly, "Sometimes, I'd watch movies with my siblings. Or rather watch some movies by myself. But nowadays, I can only do about 3-4 movies a week because of work. I can only watch on weekdays as well."
  
   "So, would you like to watch movies with me? I mean- I don't really know about movies. I watched whatever Karina or Soobin suggested me to watch. What's your movie genre?" YJ asked and BG thought for a while. "I'm open to any kind of genres. But, I'd prefer a Rom-Com or Romance focused kind of movies." BG said and YJ nodded understandingly.
  
   "How do you watch movies hyung?" BG asked and YJ shook his phone, making the younger male stared at him in disbelief. "Are you serious?" BG asked and YJ innocently nodded.
  
   "Oh my God hyung! That's so innocent and boomer of you! You can watch it on laptop as well. The bigger screen is better, no?" BG chuckled as he went to YJ's desk and took the laptop to the bed.
  
   YJ just let him do whatever he wanted and let BG settled everything.
  
   "But since you're cute cuz of that, it doesn't matter much." BG said as he turned on the laptop and looked at YJ who's red. "Hyung, you good?" Bg asked and YJ nodded vigorously as he typed in his password.
  
   BG caressed his back softly and YJ accidentally let out a soft moan as it hurt. "Oh! Your back! Have you applied the remedy cream?" BG asked and YJ shook his head.
  
   "H-how did you know about the remedy cream?" YJ asked. "I took a shower in your toilet, remember? You left the cream on the sink counter with its tube shut tightly. Wait here, I'll go take it." BG said as he got off the bed before YJ could even stop him.
  
   BG dashed out from the bathroom and hopped onto the bed. He smiled at YJ as he uncapped the cream.
  
   "Wh-what are you doing?" YJ asked, face fully flushed in shyness. BG simply replied, "Applying the remedy on your back. C'mon hyung, take off your shirt!" BG said and YJ was hesitant.
  
   "Beomgyu... It may make you uncomfortable -"
  
   "Of what, hyung? I've seen all of you before. What's to be uncomfortable of?" BG said and YJ sighed.
  
   "That exactly." YJ said.
  
   "Hyung, I voluntarily want to apply this on your back. Hurry! The movie has finished downloading!" BG exclaimed and YJ reluctantly unbuttoned his shirt as he took the shirt.
  
   "Oh my God... Hyung, haven't you been eating? Why are you so thin?" BG commented as he stared at YJ's smaller built rather than the first time they met.
  
   "That's why the hits gave a huge impact on your back. It's thinner that it used to be." BG said as he caressed the bruises on YJ's back gently.
  
   "I haven't been eating since I couldn't get a hold of you." YJ admitted and BG halted from applying the remedy on the older male's back. "After a few days, since I left you like that, I felt like I lost something in my life. Karina didn't talk about you anymore. Her and Soobin were at verge of deaths after not getting any news about you. Kai cried almost every night thinking if you wanted to stay away from him suddenly or so." YJ continued.
  
   BG's hand slowly faltered away from YJ's back as he listened attentively to the older male's confession.
  
   "I began feeling that as well. You didn't update anything. Basically vanished away without any trace. SB and Karina came to my room everyday to remind me how I've hurt someone who's so precious to them... and unknowingly to me too." YJ added as he sighed when he remembered how distraught he was during those period.
  
   "I noticed the changes in my eating habit; I didn't eat as much as I used to. Even my siblings pointed it out but I just shrugged it off. But the worriness just increased and I couldn't help but want to know about you. How are you? Have you eaten? What's wrong? Are you okay? The dumbest questions ever. The answers were crystal clear that you weren't okay and I'm the one who caused it." YJ said frustratedly.
  
   "Since none of us know about your well being but, Soobin said he saw Hyunjin at your house before you went silent, I resorted to the final way I could which is to contact Yeji to ask for Hyunjin's number." YJ let out a sad chuckle.
  
   "I texted Hyunjin, asking about you. He said he wouldn't tell me cuz he saw your puffy eyes that morning. With the traces of hickeys on your body. But, I didn't take responsibility of it. Moreover, he'd be going to Australia." YJ sighed.
  
   "Hyunjin really didn't text me anything until he heard some news from his sister about me." YJ chuckled.
  
   "Do you want to read it?" YJ asked as he turned around to see BG's watery eyes.
  
   YJ smiled sadly looking at BG and caressed his head softly before picking up his phone and opened his contact with HJ. He gave it to Beomgyu and the boy took it. BG took a soft sniffle before reading the chat.
