THE NEXT few days remained normal for marina, countless unwanted pictures and spiraling conspiracies circled their way back to her phone. however for matt, his whole world had altered, he felt as though he could finally die at peace.
he released a comfortable sigh while staring up at his ceiling, an array of vibrant oranges and pinks slipped through from his window. drifting off into a trail of thought. his career. majority of people his age spent their time partying in sweaty clubs or studying their passion at a college, but matt? matt sat in his car twice a week debating wether his audience's pets were cute or not. don't get him wrong, he is incredibly grateful that he was able to be stable by doing this but sometimes he wondered if this was it. was this all he was capable of? a sharp buzz from his phone, which was now laying on his chest, awoke him from the spiral.

matt scrolled through the comments, unknowingly nodding at the ones pointing out how pretty marina was. when suddenly a flush of realisation hit him, he spoke about marina in a video.. or two. the boy intensely reminisced about his previous words, how the tint of his cheeks burned, how the constant smile began to hurt. oh my god, marina could watch them. the boy found himself in a frenzy, his fingers jumping the keyboard of his phone while he rapidly sculped a text only to find a certain someone had tested him first.

"who got you all shits and giggles?" remi questioned suspiciously. "oh my god is it another jacob elordi edit?" clara deadpanned earning the other two to gasp. marina laughed at the sight of them, you would have thought somebody had died by the looks on their faces. "no but if it is send me the edit please" coco added, somewhat embarrassed. "you's three are so dumb, its no-one and no edit!" marina answered, quicky shutting down any rumours of her adding another Jacob elordi edit to her tiktok favourites. "oh but i have someone coming over tomorrow, if that's okay with you guys?" marina mentioned, the group nodded their heads before falling back into their regular comfortable silence. the rain pattering down, bouncing off the window infront of them.
