Hogwarts, June, 1976.

The OWL's were a pain in the ass. Luckily for Olivia they were done with them that same week. The only thing Olivia didn't appreciate about that situation was that each day brought her closer to coming back to the manor, her home.

Every year before the final exams Olivia received a letter from her parents, usually it was her mother the one who wrote every single letter she got, but the letter from June was always in her father's handwriting.

Antoinette

You know very well everything that is expected from you. This year is not different, do not disappoint us, do not disappoint me, Antoinette.
Every year that is left behind just brings you closer to being an adult, you need to learn how to behave like one your mother and I deem worthy because I'd hate for you to end up like our dear Antoine.
You were just no more than a child back then so you probably don't remember but his death destroyed your mother and I, and I don't want that to happen again. Be better than he was.

Antoni William Nott.

His father didn't like to write letters, that was the main reason why she would only get one from him every June. He preferred to voice all his threats in person that was why when he wrote to her- he always liked to voice concerns over her, pretending to be the dutiful parent he wasn't, but this letter was different. The moment Olivia read Thomas' name she started crying, it was one of the first times since Tommy died that his name was mention or even written. How dare they? Olivia thought. How dare they mention his name when they did what they did? She didn't have any proof, but the threats her parents gave her very time were more than enough for her. Olivia couldn't handle this anymore.

"Let's go liv," Claudia said walking inside their dorm again, "you don't want to be late to the divination OWL," Olivia was sitting on her bed with the letter crumpled in her hands, "Are you okay?" Asked Claudia.

"Yes," Olivia stood up still with the letter in her hands.

"What's wrong?" Claudia was worried.

"Nothing, C," Olivia walked out of their dorm and once she reached the common area she burned the letter in the chimney.

"Was it your father's letter?" Claudia asked but she already knew the answer. Olivia didn't want to talk about the letter. Not now.
