"Do you even know where we are going?" Jake asks as they have been walking for 10 minutes. Johnnie shrugs in return. "Not really actually", he lets out a quiet laugh at himself. Jake looked around the trees and the sky. The sun was shining through the thin clouds in the sky, the warm wind felt nice hitting softly their faces. Johnnie was taking in the atmosphere and just the whole thing. He really didn't like leaving the house, but this felt extremely nice. Just walking somewhere with his best friend made him smile way too much. They walked on a small road that was leading to god knows where. The taller man's eyes wandered around the places just exploring the sight. "This is actually quite nice", Jake spoke softly to the calm silence that surrounded both men. Johnnie took a breath just sighing in a happy way. "Your right with that one", he spoke back matching Jake's tone.

They continued their walk when more trees started surrounding the road leading to a landscape. A wooden bridge stood still on top of a river and the water moved slowly on it causing small sounds. Jake and Johnnie stopped walking just to stand on that old looking wooden bridge. The smaller man peeked down at the river with the same smile that had been on his lips for the whole time. Jake did the same. Both stared at their own reflections on the water. "Never thought that just a walk could be this peaceful", Jake managed to chuckle. Johnnie nodded along.
Soon both men caught each other's eyes, just looking at the other. Now it felt like a full silence came over. "Remember when you said that I was your other half?" Johnnie spoke with a hint of playfulness in his voice. Jake stared back and laughed. "I still think that." He replied back a smile peeking on his lips.

"But i'm the better half", Jake added clearly joking after the cute moment. Johnnie immediately rolled his eyes. "God your such a dumbass", the smaller man spoke back laughing.

They continued their walk leaving the old wooden bridge behind them. The trees started slightly avoiding the road and a tiny hill was in front of them. Johnnie's eyes traveled on the hill and then he suddenly froze in place. Jake stopped walking to look at Johnnie with a curious look. Johnnie stared at the hill in amazement.

"Wait! No way!" Johnnie spoke quickly and started running towards the hill. "Hey!" Jake said running behind Johnnie. They made their way up and then the smaller man stood still again, catching his breath.

"This feels unreal!" He exclaimed and Jake didn't have any idea what was happening. "What?" Jake questioned trying to find out what was so shocking. "This is the place where my newest instagram post was taken! The one where we wore each other's shoes that were tied together!!" Johnnie spoke quickly feeling like he could just laugh and scream at the same time. The fact that he felt adrenaline just from being there was funny. "Wait let me check", Jake muttered opening his phone. Then the realization hit him like a truck. His mouth flew open. "OH!" He exclaimed feeling the same excitement as Johnnie. "Oh shit! No way!" Jake continued and then looked around the hill. A small memory popped into his brain and he looked at Johnnie. "That day we decided to celebrate our friendship remember?" Jake managed out an amazed laugh. His hands went through his hair and Johnnie snickered. "How could I forget—" Johnnie spoke feeling even more excitement in his body. They both acted like kids about the whole thing. "We have to redo that celebration again." Jake spoke before sitting down on the fresh grass, Johnnie following quickly behind the action. "No but for real!" Johnnie said now sitting next to Jake. Their eyes were wandering around the whole atmosphere even more this time. The calm silence covering them again. Jake looked down at his hands his smile widened even more. Johnnie looked at the sky just in thought before he started feeling like someone was touching his foot. He glanced down to see Jake who was tie upping their shoe laces together. Johnnie burst out laughing. "Now this is even more iconic", Jake spoke and made a bow out of their laces. "Jake your such a genius", Johnnie joked still laughing and leaned his back against the grass. The taller man layed down as well feeling the fresh breeze of coldness in the grass. They looked at the slightly cloudy sky. A sight escaping their mouths. They didn't feel like they needed to say anything right now. The peaceful silence was enough for them both. The whole moment and walk was something they never thought they needed. It felt surreal and yet there they were.

They stayed there just laying down on top of the  grass for a good time.
