Hybrids were created by rich people a couple hundreds of years ago. The rich humans would take desperate and jobless people from various parts in their area to experiment on them promising them great fortune. Though none of them were ever given this promised fortune.

To create us hybrids the rich would take animal parts, put them in potions made of random herbs they found lying around and would feed that to the poor. Which turned us into monsters, but as if it could get any worse even though they created us, hybrids were treated horribly. Until one fateful day a dragon hybrid and a lion hybrid gathered up other hybrids to start a rebellion. Thankfully they succeeded, and all the hybrids that were saved fled off to build the kingdom us hybrids live in now. In the kingdom, the dragon hybrid and lion hybrid got married becoming dragon queen and lion king! And forever making the humans our enemy.

The dragon queen and lion king happily ruled the kingdom together as a family, and were considered the first royals of our kingdom. But as generations go by there was a sickness that enveloped the hybrid kingdom. The kingdom was in despair, so the dragons joint together and used all their power and cured the sickness from everyone, but in exchange, their bloodline slowly started to die out. Leaving the lions to rule the kingdom alone, but forever thankful of their sacrifice.

The cat race, who were distant relatives of the lions, stayed by the lions in their time of sadness. And as time passed the two got closer and closer.

But even before the mourning was over, the humans had somehow located the kingdom and invaded them while they were at their lowest. During this time, it was the cats who stepped up to fight and fend for the kingdom. Earning them the tittle of right hand man on the kings/queens. With each following generation growing up to become powerful warriors.
