The next morning

y/n wakes up to the smell of food. She stretches and looks over to where Jungkook was laying but it was empty. She gets up, puts his shirt on and grabs some undies from the drawer. She walks out to the kitchen while putting her hair up in a messy bun

"Kookie?"

"Neh"

She walks over to him and hugs him from behind while he cooks, her cheek on his bareback

"Good morning y/n"

"Mmm morning"

He chuckles "not a morning person?"

"I am but i went to bed kind of late you know"

"Hmm. i wonder why" he states sarcastically

"Me too" she giggles and kisses his back

He turns the stove off and turns towards her. He wraps his arms around her and kisses the top of her head.

"Come on, let's eat. We have busy day ahead of us"

"We do" she pouts

"Yes we do darling. Did you have other plans?"

They sit on the couch and begin eating

"No just kind of sore"

He smiles. Grabs her hand and kisses it

"I'm sorry"

"It was worth every ache, no need to apologize. What plans do we have?"

"Well i technically was supposed to leave today"

"What?" she says sadly

"But i have made a compromise, i can stay for one more day but i have to film  part of a music video"

"So when do you leave"

"Tomorrow"

She finishes her food. Gets up and walks to the sink placing her dish in the sink

"y/n?" Jungkook follows

He places his hands gently on her shoulders

"y/n" he says to her back

"Its so dumb"

"No its not"

She turns to face him. Tears swelling in her eyes

"It is Jungkook, because I knew this was never going to last, that one day soon you were going to leave. That I would have to deal with all these emotions and feelings by myself once you leave. To get it through my head that this was never going to work. But yet here I am hurt and sad that you are leaving. So yes, Jungkook. It is dumb"

He lifts her chin up to look her in the eyes ''you won't be the only one. I'm going to miss you too"

Tears rolled down her cheek. He wipes them off. They hold her tight. After what feels like forever he breaks the silence

"Let's make the most of the time we do have together." he slowly pushed himself away and looked at her again "okay?"

"Okay Kookie"

"Good girl"
