Jungkook is holding y/n while she sleeps "Are you awake?"

"Mm"

"Why don't you think we would last" he asks curiously

"Hmm?"

"Why don't you think we could last as a couple"

"We live differently"

"We could make a schedule"

"Not that"

"Then what?"

"You are known and loved by millions. You have this fast paced life, always traveling. I have a normal 9-5. Living a normal life. I've barely even traveled. Besides, army would drive us apart."

"You wouldn't fight for us?"

"I would but I'm sure your label would only have so much patience till they do something about us"

Jungkook lets out a sigh. y/n turns around, facing Jungkook

"What is it?" she asks moving his hair behind his ear

"What if I wanted to try"

"Try what? Us together?"

He nods softly

"I would tell you no. but not because I don't want to but because I'm going to be opening a business and you are well you. Our schedules are very hectic. So I would suggest we try being friends first. We make a schedule, do the whole long distance friendship and after a year or so. We would talk about whether or not we would take the next step. Talking about us working and us actually living the realities of it are two different things"

"Yeah I guess so"

She kisses his forehead "get some rest Kookie"

He tucks his head into her chest

30 minutes later

"Let's do it"

"Do what?" her voice raspy with sleep

"Make a schedule, the whole long distance friendship thing"

"Yeah?"

"Yes"

"Okay. can we do it in the morning though?"

He chuckles

"Yeah sorry darling, get some rest"
