"I missed you, bruh!"
Mckenna said, wrapping her arms around Taraji.
"How was the camp?"
"Man, it was cool as hell. I met some major heavy hitters. I think this pro thing may happen after all."
Taraji and Mckenna got into Mckenna's car and headed back to their apartment.
"Did Zaria tell you what happened?"
Mckenna Asked Tarajim
"Man, no, I really didn't get to talk much on the phone. They kept us so busy. I swear, Monica blew my phone up."
"Fuck that bitch. Anyway, Zaria's mom walked in on her and Nic."
"Oh, shit,"
Taraji laughed.
"I bet she had a fit."
Mckenna laughed.
"Hell, yeah. Nic was mortified. She started panicking and shit. But Z said it was all good in the end. Her mother actually respects their relationship now."
"What about Nic's people?"
"Man, I heard they fell in love with her immediately.
Nic's mom was calling Zaria her daughter and some more."

Mckenna sighed.
"Man, I am glad to be home. I can't wait to see Armani."
"I bet you can't. So did you hook up with anyone in ATL?"
"Man, nah. And guess who I ran into? Aaliyah."
Taraji looked at Mckenna in amazement.
"And you didn't hook up?"
"Nope."
Mckenna smiled.
"I told her that I had someone at home."
"Well, it looks like someone's in love."
Mckenna looked over at Taraji.
"You know what, I'll admit it. I love her. Shit, I can't believe I said that. I'm such a fuckin' punk."
They both laughed.

Taraji made it into the apartment first, while Mckenna got all of her bags from the car. Taraji looked around the apartment. Something didn't feel right. She walked into her room. She didn't remember leaving her drawers open. She looked around her room. She had a very uneasy feeling. She heard Mckenna yell from her room. Taraji ran into the room and gasped. Mckenna stood frozen at her door, looking at the destruction.
"Oh my God!"
Taraji said, walking into the room. The strong smell of bleach hit her nose instantly. Mckenna felt like someone knocked the wind out of her. Someone hit her where it hurt the most. All of her hats and clothes were bleached. Her cologne collection was ruined. She couldn't speak.

Taraji didn't know what to do. She looked at Mckenna, whose face had lost all its color. Taraji quickly grabbed Mckenna, who immediately collapsed in her arms.
"Who the fuck! Who!"
Mckenna screamed as tears of anger ran down her face. She fought to break free from Taraji.
"We'll find out, bruh."
Taraji tried to calm Mckenna down, but knew it wasn't going to work. She let her go. Mckenna went on a rampage. She hit the wall so hard that her fist broke through.
"Kenna!"
Taraji yelled. She couldn't let her mess up the apartment.

The police finally arrived and surveyed the room.
One of the police officers began to ask the same questions again.
"And are you sure no one could have access to a key?"
"Yes, sir,"
Taraji said.
"Only three people have keys, and one of them isn't back from L.A. yet."
The police took a report and left. Taraji closed the door and looked at Mckenna.
"Man, if I find out who did this,"
Mckenna said, shaking her head,
"that person is going to feel pain unlike any other."

"Well, what are you going to do about clothes?"
"That's nothing. I'll get more clothes. Plus, I had a lot of my stuff with me when I headed to ATL. I'll make it. I'm mad about my cologne though. That damn Creed was like a hundred and fifty dollars. Ahhh shit, my Billionaire Boys Club shirt."
Mckenna held the pieces of her beloved shirt in her hand.
"Talk about hitting a nigga where it hurts."
"Well, at least it was a shirt and not your life,"
Taraji said.
"Yeah, but it was a hot shirt."
Mckenna looked at Taraji and cracked a small smile. She knew Taraji was right. They were only possessions, but she still was going to work to find out who did it.

Fantasia looked at herself in the mirror. She felt fat. Fantasia felt so lonely when Kendall was on the road. She had gotten to the point of doing simple things, like going to the movies. Sometimes Fantasia would dismiss her staff just so she could do some of their chores. She missed her friends. She missed Taraji. She wondered if she was back from camp. Fantasia picked up her phone to call, but quickly put it back down. She wondered how she would react to seeing Taraji. There was only one way to find out.
