Rapee & Rattikal (Love Syndrome)

After they agreed on the work for tomorrow, Night started preparing things for sukiyaki. Shortly after, everything was ready and Rapee went to set up the place, which was next to the pool, where you could see the view of the city from a high angle. It was perfect to sit and watch the fireworks from various places in Bangkok that were going off tonight. They both helped pack things up, and Rapee brought the drinks, while Rattikal ordered beer because he wanted to wash it down with his father's fried spicy chicken.

"Have you ever sat down to eat sukiyaki like this before?" asked Rattikal after sitting on the chair.

"No," Rapee replied shortly.

"Oh, that means it's the first time, doesn't it? I'm very happy," said Rattikal with a smile, and began to put the vegetables to boil. Even though Rapee had never participated in homemade sukiyaki making before, it didn't mean he had never eaten it.

He helped Night with everything. Once the fresh ingredients were boiled, Night placed them in a bowl for Rapee, and Rapee did the same for Rattikal, causing Night to smile in response.

"How can you do that? I have to take care of you." Rattikal teased back.

"It is not necessary for you to take care of me alone," Rapee replied and Rattikal smiled in response. They both started eating the sukiyaki together, creating a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Despite the normality of the situation, they both felt warm in their hearts.

The sun was about to set, and Rapee's phone started ringing. It was a call from Phansaeng, so Rapee answered it, while Rattikal also received a message from Bannawit, with a photo of the sunset somewhere, letting Rattikal know that the other party was traveling with Phansaeng.

While waiting for Rapee to talk on the cell phone, Rattikal also exchanged some messages with Blue, as he knew that Bannawit is still not very confident in himself. He sent a message:

Blue, if you don't mind dating the boss's son, just go ahead << Kal_N

Please give me encouragement. I'm going to Suriyaplanon's house tomorrow << Kal_N

Rattikal sent this message because he thought that Bannawit might also have feelings for Phansaeng, just like he has for Rapee. However, Night did not know that Bannawit did not know that Phansaeng was Suriyaplanon's second son.

Rattikal did not talk to Bannawit anymore because Rapee ended his call at that time. Rapee glanced slightly at Rattikal's cell phone.

"Blue sent me a photo of the view. It looks like he is with Phansaeng," Rattikal said and Rapee nodded as Phansaeng had also called him.

Then they both continued to eat the sukiyaki together. Night accompanied his beer with spicy fried chicken prepared by his own father. He pondered that perhaps he should try to get closer to his own father, after years of distance between them. Meanwhile, the sky gradually darkened slowly.

After they had their fill of sukiyaki, they washed the dishes and went to the living room balcony to continue drinking. Night sat on the sofa, he lifted both his legs up and hugged them to feel the cool breeze that would only last for a few days during winter in Thailand.

"Are you cold?" Rapee asked, seeing Night hugging himself.

"No, I like cool weather like this," Rattikal replied before leaning over to lean on Rapee's shoulder. Rapee himself raised his arm to wrap around Rattikal's shoulder as the two continued to drink beer together. The lights in Bangkok at night seemed even more beautiful in Night's eyes.

"I really like this, we don't need to go anywhere tumultuous," Rattikal said, to which Rapee agreed. He thought it was great to have Rattikal to spend New Year's Eve with him like this.
