Ice Cold (Fairy Tail)

Chapter 1: A Mission

Lucy's POV

I yawned, and sat up in bed. It was really warm.... Wait, warm? I frowned, and looked next to me to see a certain pink haired salamander next to me in my bed. I groaned, and looked around not to see a little blue cat, for once. I felt arms around my waist pull me back to lay back down.

"N-natsu!" I felt my face heat up.

He yawned. "Oh, morning Luce." Natsu opened his eyes and notice he was holding me in his arms. His face went pink, and he quickly let me go. "Uh-er-umm sorry?"

Was Natsu... Blushing!?!? I thought, and shook my head to clear it, but the image of Natsu remained.

I smiled awkwardly and went to the bathroom. "Hey, Natsu, I'm gonna go take a quick bath, OK? Do NOT come in, or else. Got it?"

He nodded and I glanced back to see him getting into his usual clothing. Before, he was wearing a black and red t-shirt with the Fairy Tail emblem in red embers, and plaid PJ pants. I have to admit, he has nice abs... I thought. I toke a bath, washing up. When I got out, I noticed I forgot my clothes. I groaned, hating myself for the mistake. I crept out of the bathroom in a towel to see Natsu sleeping again in only his boxers?! Oh well, since he's asleep I can go ahead and get dressed, I thought. I got dressed, my back facing Natsu. I was wearing something different than usual. A nice pink sundress that went to my knees, and some black flats. I left my hair down. As soon as I was done and was about to turn around I felt someone hug me from behind.

"You look good, Luce" Natsu's voice was low and husky, sounding really sexy...

"N-natsu..." I whispered.

I felt lips on my neck, and moaned. He chuckled, probably hearing my heart race. He kissed my neck some more licking it. I shuddered. He bit and nibbled my ear some and let me go. I felt cold without him close to me, but I didn't bring him back. Natsu dragged me to the door, and pushed me through it so he could go through the window. I sighed, and locked the door behind me. When we got to the guild, I would have to tell Levy about that little moment. She and Mira were the only ones who knew I loved Natsu. I feel bad for Mira. Juvia and Lyon had just gotten married, and were living happily in the forest. Gray seemed a little sad, but he says that he's over Juvia. No one believes him. Mira was almost as heartbroken as Gray because of the broken ship, maybe even more so. We arrived at the guild, and the guild master was on a table, trying to get everyone's attention. Mira turned into her Satan Soul, and they all quieted down.

"Alright brats! I need team Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Laxus, and one person of Gajeel, Laxus, and Wendy's choice in my office in five minutes!" He yelled.

Gajeel went and picked up Levy by her collar, while little Wendy shyly went up to Romeo and Laxus headed for Mira. Erza, Gray, Natsu and I headed to Masters office. After a few minutes, Wendy, Romeo, Levy, and Gajeel came in.

"Alright brats. The reason I need you is there has been a dragon sighting."
The slayers jumped up. "What?!?!" They all said, except for Laxus, in unison.

"Calm down and let me finish! It doesn't seem to be your dragons, sadly. She is white, and shoots ice and crystals, it seems. A girl is usually with her. They live in a cave of crystals. It is your job to find out the truth."

"Have the dragon and girl done anything wrong?" Wendy asked, curious.

"The girl has stolen a necklace from a jewelers store, and the dragon destroyed the mayors home. Any more questions?"

"Do we know what they look like?" I asked.

"The girl is a blonde with pale skin and bright blue eyes, a little taller than Levy. The dragon is bright white, and she is a very large dragon. Is that all?"

"When do we leave?" Erza asked.

"Tomorrow. That should give you enough time to pack for the trip. I already have tickets for the train. Anything else?" Silence. "Good. All of you, train station at noon. Good luck, my children."

Natsu's POV

We all left Gramps' office when we were done. Gajeel, Wendy and I were silent. Romeo was trying to cheer up Wendy. They were cute kids, and would be great together. Luce, Mira, and Levy were whispering excitedly, probably about what I did this morning. I couldn't help it, though! Dragon mating season is in a few months, and I love Luce, so she's my mate. If we mate before season, and I mark her, I don't have to get all aggressive and stuff. I don't want to hurt Luce to mate and mark her. I sighed. Who knows, maybe the dragon we need to search for knows where Igneel is, so I can ask him for advice. I went to the jobs board, and chose an easy one I can walk to and get home by sunset. It was just scaring off a rober. He wasnt a wizard and it didnt give many jewels, but I didnt care. Mira approved, and I headed off to home to pick up Happy, and left. Maybe a fight can help me think.
