Loren
It's been a week after that fight. I promise to visit Mila like I did. We have a lot of fun. Carlos also told me that the next race will be scheduled this Sunday. This time it will determine the winner between him and Asher. It was a fun week. But everything went back to hell on Monday morning. It's like a realization hit me all over again.
Look away, Loren.
You're fine.
You can't really see a whole other side of you just by looking at the mirror.
Oh yes I can. I would slap myself to look away but I hate pain to the core.
Loren, you're normal.
You're just like others.
Lie.
I don't even know if I can be normal with all that mess up shit running inside my brain.
I groan and close my eyes. Taking a deep breath.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out.
I open my eyes again and blow out a heavy sign. I finally got the courage to look away from the mirror and go out of the bathroom.
I went out and put on my shoes. I'm fully dressed in my sportswear. I got up and grabbed my bag that was packed with everything I needed while beating up heavy sandbags and letting out my frustrations.
I closed the light and got out.
I hurried down the stairs, "I'm heading to Heath." Heath is the gym I always go to. It's the one and only gym I like.
"When will you be back?" Mom asks.
"Before dinner." I answered.
"Stay safe." She smiles.
I nodded before heading out and got into the car.
"Heath." The driver nodded and immediately took me to the location I requested.
I thanked the driver and went in. I went to scan my member card and went to the locker room. I unlock my locker that I own. Every customer with a member card received their own locker. I throw my bag in and take out only my phone and water bottle and my headphones.
I went out of the room and saw my coach, "hey Loren."
"Hi coach."
"Haven't seen you in a while," I walk to where he is standing, in front of the boxing ring.
"Yea, all those moving and settling into new beginnings." I scoffed.
"Well, you can train first, your opponent isn't here yet." I nodded.
I hand him my water bottle and my phone. I stalk toward the sandbag and put it on my headphones.
