The strong wind hitting my skin is too cold that even a snowman can feel the breeze. The tension around Sona is occupying me. Making me feel like something bad is going to happen.

The scream of anguish is getting louder as we run away. The sound of the wind hitting the trees and leaves screeching each other makes the atmosphere hot and cold that I can't barely choose which one is the right fit for this event.

Why do I have the feeling that the curiosity I've been hiding inside me will end soon?

That thought made me excited but my fear is greater than that. I can feel Sona's moist hand and the vibration of fear. Her panting is making everything worst. She has asthma and that makes me more worried.

Why did Sona dragged me off the bed after hearing that outrageous sonorous loud roar? Why did everyone chose to stay knowing they'll be endanger? Why did they forced me to leave?

I can feel the dirty soft ground swallowing my bare feet each step as it scrapes my skin around my feet. My long hair waving before my face blocking a little portion of my sight because of the strong wind. My confuses keeps on bugging me .

Why is Sona have to take me with her?

"Sona what's really happening?! If they're an intruder we must help them?! They're our family! Why do you have to run me this far!" I said pulling my hand from Sona's grip.

We ran too far from the house but I can hear the screams of agony and lament. Because of curiosity I stopped running that made Sona stopped as well. She pulled me again but I firmed my body and waited for her answer when she realized I won't let her do what she wants without it. She gazed at me.

"Can't you see?! It's too dangerous for you?!" looking around like someone's gonna kill us behind, Sona said with startled voice.

What's happening? What's with her sudden change? I gazed at her back trying to be braver.

"But we need to help them!" I insisted.

"You can't! You need to escape!" Sona said and was about to grab my hand again but I stepped back to distant from her.

"And leave them?! No Sona! We have to help them! What happened to you?! You know they're only the family I have! And you... Aren't they your family as well?" I said and run back towards the house wrapped of rummage by the fiend and loud shrill cry in tumult. The struggling strife of vendetta came over to my senses.

They need me! I doubled my speed. Not bothering the itched stingy cuts at the sole of my feet as it touches the muddy ground. Not bothering Sona's calling, I continued running with accurate speed. I never expected it will be my worst mistake. To leave Sona there... To turn my back from her...

With the slippery and wet ground I bear with it, feeling the wounds on my feet prickled by the mud. But suddenly a sharp scream roam around the forest that leaves silence after it. The scream made me agitated and stopped. The chirping and humming birds joined as I looked around.

"Sona!" even with perplexed mind I shouted back.

I glanced at the way heading towards the house with doubtful eyes.

Sorry...

It was all I can say before heading back where I left Sona but she's gone.

"Sona!" A yell came out of my lips hoping for response.

But there's no response. Even with the obscure dark, creepy forest, bamboo trees dancing like pleasuring the scene, without safety assurance I kept on calling Sona's name in despair. The screams suddenly vanished that left the birds' chirps and hums.
