Chapter 2

Theo could feel his skin tingle in a sensation he's never felt before. The way her eyes roamed and searched his body. He felt exposed and yet he relished in the feeling that her attention was all on him. Finally, her eyes made contact with his.

"Sleeping, sure I guess, but a beauty, that's a bit skeptical" she said looking down at herself and her eyes seems to lift a little to indicate a smirk underneath her mask.

Theo couldn't understand her calm in the situation she is in. She should be afraid and fear him but deep insides Theo did not desire this fear he wishes to instill in her. Before Theo could even respond back to her she says to him "Listen, how about we skip all this introduction and you let me off the hook. My only mission is to return your brother and hand you the letter."

Theo's hand immediately snatched her collar and questioned her "What happened to my parents? Who are you?". The woman's eyebrow frowns and immediately angered. She snarled at Theo for his impudent behavior, "If you know what is best for you, you would immediately remove your paws off my collar boy", "I – ". Before she could continue Theo's little brother Noah immediately enter the dungeon pushing Theo away from the woman and going into a defensive stance.

"Theo, you can't hurt her!" yelled Noah.

"Noah what do you think you are doing. Get away from her now!" Theo said as he reached for his brother's arm to only be brushed off and Noah turns to hug the woman "I'll only leave if you treat her better and bring her out of the dungeons".

Noah is a stubborn little pup and Theo knows it. The only way to get Noah away is to listen to his requests and seeing how much of a liking Noah has taken to the young woman, even to the point of brushing off his favorite brother, Theo knows that he has to do something about this.

"Alright, I'll listen to you Noah, so let her go immediately". Noah's arms leave the woman's side only to hold onto her hand and said "I won't leave until you unshackle her brother".

Sighing in anger Theo reaches for the keys in his pocket and unshackles the woman from her restraints. The woman grunts as she falls to the floor. Her eye's squinted at Theo's and she slowly gets up, holding onto Noah's hands again. Noah squeezes her hands and says to her "Don't worry, my brother may look big but he's a real softie. He won't be able to hurt you". Chuckling the woman turns to stare at Theo once again as he glared at her in supposed anger but his redden ears betrayed him.

"I think we started off from a bad start, how about we reintroduce ourselves again" She says before glancing around and adding "In a better place of course". Theo scoffs at her and heads towards the stairs. Without any need or instructions, the woman follows Theo's footsteps.
