The blues in your eyes

CHAPTER 3

Walking through the corridor and into his office Theo seats himself into his office chair and waited. The women soon entered with his brother lovingly holding onto her.

Although annoyed Theo was still sensible to understand that this person wouldn't hurt his brother. Theo gestures with his eyes for the women to sit in the couch.

Her eyebrows raised at Theo in response. She comfortably lays down on the couch with her arms behind her head. Her legs straightened and crossed over each other. Slowly closing her eyes, she waited for Theo as if she were an esteemed guest.

The obvious disrespect towards Theo has him clenching his fist in anger. However, no matter how angry he is he must remain civil for his people.

The women's eyes traveled to Theo's seething eyes. Deciding not to make the situation worse than it already is she gets up and greets Theo appropriately with the respect for an alpha. She bows a 90-degree angle and says to him "Hello, Alpha Theodore Stone, I am Emma Stirling also known as the traveler."

Theo eyes her questioningly as if to ask who is the traveler? Amused at Theo's curiosity Emma answers his question.

"I am a lone traveler. I travel the world and sometimes, or occasionally, I do quest that people asks of me to complete for them. But the main point is that I travel hence the name the traveler." She says with an eye smile.

Of course, Theo has never heard of this traveler before and rightfully so is suspicious of this woman who claims to be this unknown traveler.

Communicating through the mind-link with his beta Theo asked for a background check of Emma. His beta, however, surprised him that the traveler was a known quest goer that appeared about three years ago.

She appeared three years ago traveling the world and helping packs or wolves who have requests in exchange for money and authority to pass pack territories.

Theo looks Emma up and down in suspicion. Maybe the traveler may exist but how would he know if Emma is the real traveler.

"How can I be sure that you're the traveler? Do you have a form of identification?" Asks Theo.

"Of course, I have a moon and star sign only alphas know of." Emma says raising her shirt in effort to show Theo. The stripping was an unexpectedness that shocked Theo. He immediately covered his eyes and says "What do you think you are doing!" Emma chuckles quietly at his seemingly innocent and gentlemanly reaction.

Emma leans over Theo's desk and tilts her head towards Theo's ears to whisper "have you never seen a women's body before?" her breathe filled Theo's ears with warmth and turned red to her words. Hearing her words Theo immediately looked her in the eyes almost just an inch away from touching her lips.

Theo's sudden movement shocked Emma. To avoid touching Theo, Emma swiftly backed herself away from Theo and his desk. They stared at each other in a moment of awkward silence before Emma clears her throat and proclaims to Theo that he could confirm her identity with Alpha Darrel from the southern pack.

Gaining confirmation from Alpha Darrel about the identity of the traveler and putting aside Theo's uneasiness about Emma, he asks her "Tell me, please, what happened to my parents?" Emma's cheeky smile turned stone-cold as she tells Theo her memories of that night!
