Third Person's POV
✼
Next morning dawned with the gentle glow of Sunday, casting a tranquil hue over the world. Atharva stirred from his slumber, greeted by the soft sunlight filtering through the curtains. As he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, his gaze fell upon the sight of Anisha, bathed in the morning light, standing before the mirror, busy getting ready.
Atharva couldn't help but admire her, the way her hair cascaded in gentle waves, the curve of her lips as she applied a touch of lipstick, the sparkle in her eyes as she caught his reflection in the mirror.
"Good morning," she said, her voice soft and warm.
He returned her greeting with a gentle smile, his eyes reflecting the affection he felt. "Good morning. Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, did you?" she inquired, her gaze searching his.
Atharva nodded, a sense of contentment settling over him. "Yes."
Anisha then disappeared into the walk-in closet, emerging moments later with her handbag in hand. "Listen, I'm sorry to trouble you, but I need to go to work today. Could you please look after Maisha?"
"What?" Atharva exclaimed, his expression one of shock and disbelief. "It's Sunday today. You can't be going to work today."
Anisha sighed, a hint of resignation in her voice as she explained, "Yeah, but Ms. Sood, my producer, she's going on a leave for 2-3 days from tomorrow. So, we need to shoot the next episode today."
"But still, that doesn't mean she can make others work on a Sunday," He replied, his frown deepening with each passing moment.
Inwardly, he couldn't help but feel a surge of frustration, as he muttered in his head. "What nonsense is going on at that IndiVision? They're making my wife work on a Sunday?"
Anisha sighed, her shoulders slumping in resignation. "Yeah, but what can we do?"
Atharva shook his head in frustration. "Your seniors are trouble."
Anisha glanced at him and couldn't help but smile. She then chuckled and sat beside him, "Yes, you know, you're quite right. There's a man at our work, at a very high position, he's so strict, so short-tempered that everybody is hell scared of him."
"Really?" His curiosity was piqued.
Anisha nodded, her eyes widening with mock fear, giving Atharva her best impression of puppy eyes.
"Are you scared of him too?" Atharva asked, concern lacing his voice.
Anisha nodded innocently. "Yes, so much."
He couldn't help but wonder who this formidable man was. He made a mental note in his head, "Well, I'll have to have a word with this guy. Nobody should be making my wife scared."
"What position does he hold?" Atharva asked, eager to gather more information.
Anisha hesitated for a moment before replying, "Oh, he's the owner of the company."
