In the quiet corridors of St. Grace Hospital, Y/N moved with purpose. Her footsteps echoed against the sterile walls, a rhythm that matched the rapid beat of her heart. She was a nurse, but she was more than that. She was a guardian of life, a silent warrior in the battle against illness.

Y/n wasn't just an ordinary girl, she is different. Her heart beats in sync with her patients. She doesn't just follow protocols; she genuinely cares about their well-being. Compassion is her guiding light, and it shines through in every interaction. She holds hands, wipes tears, and listens-because healing isn't just about medicine; it's about empathy.Y/N doesn't see patients as cases; she sees them as people. She imagines their fears, their hopes, and their pain. Empathy fuels her actions-whether it's adjusting a pillow or holding a trembling hand. She knows that healing begins with understanding.Y/N's shifts stretch into overtime, but she doesn't falter. She's seen life and death dance in the same room, yet she persists. When exhaustion threatens, she draws strength from her purpose-the belief that every patient deserves her best. She always fights for personalized treatment. She knows that each patient is unique, with fears, dreams, and stories. She pushes boundaries, challenges rigid routines, and insists on person-centered care. For her, healing isn't a one-size-fits-all approach.Y/N treats everyone with respect. She doesn't discriminate based on status, age, or background. Her smile reaches janitors and CEOs alike. Kindness is her currency, and fairness her creed. She knows that laughter heals. She cracks jokes during injections, lightens heavy moments, and shares smiles freely. Her humor isn't just a coping mechanism; it's a lifeline for patients who need hope.Y/N's compassion isn't confined to bedside care. She inspires her colleagues, mentors new nurses, and advocates for positive change. Her leadership isn't about titles; it's about influence. But nothing can be perfect.Y/n,just like everyone else have her own fights. She absorbs pain-the grief of families, the fragility of life. But she doesn't break. She cries in private, then stands tall. Her emotional stability is her armor, shielding her heart while she fights battles unseen.Family never supported her.

And then she met him-Hyunjin. His room was tucked away in a corner, as if the universe had conspired to bring them together. His once vibrant eyes were now dull, and his skin clung to his fragile bones. The doctors whispered about his prognosis, their voices heavy with defeat. All of them knew he had low chance to live. They all tried their hardest to save him,to give him a chance to have a normal life.Full with laughters, happy memories and life without worries. It's hard, but they do everything they can.

But Y/N refused to accept defeat. She saw beyond the medical charts and IV lines. She saw a fighter, a soul desperate for another chance. And so, she vowed to save him.

------------

The rain was pouring outside.Making sound when crashing in the windows.

Hyunjin was tucked in his warm bed inside St. Grace Hospital. His bed was warmly decorated by y/n with fairy lights, stuffed animals and adorable, soft pillows. She cared so much about him, always with him, talking about his problems and trying to make him feel loved.

The said boy is reading a book that y/n bought him,for his 19 birthday (he is 20 years old now). That was one of the things that easily takes over his mind and took him away from his problems. While he was reading, his sunshine entered the room. Her smile wasn't worth even the Sun,it was more beautiful. She bought him his favorite food, some chicken with juice.

As she placed his food on the bedside table and sat beside him on the bed."How are you feeling?Does anything hurt? Are you okay to eat a little bit?"She asked caressing his soft, silky hair."Y-yeah,i'm i think i'm okay to eat".Hyunjin said, giving her a sweet, cheeky smile.

Hyunjin slowly started eating with y/n's help.He was peacfully eating his favorite food until one of his special doctors entered the room and he looked worried.Hyunjin stopped eating and his nurse grabbed his hand, giving him a reassuring squiz."Hyunjin...we have some news for you".The doctor started."Your parents...they called us in the morning. They will come tomorrow to pick you up.You need to go with them to America.I tried to stop them, but i failed. We are really sorry,Hyunjin".He said and bowed a little.
