ON THE DAY OF ENGAGEMENT

Chauhan Haveli was shining like a newly married bride. It was fully decorated to celebrate the wedding function of their pride, their daughter. Ayaan was at the Venue, seeing all preparations. Shree was getting ready in her room as the makeup and dressing artist were dolling her up. Virendra and Isha were attending the guests and yn was in her room, thinking about someone. Veer.

"Mana ki wo Rajgharane ke sabse fearless shaqs hai lekin kya jarurat thi Ayaan aur jiji sa ke saamne hme God me laane ki?"

She said to herself while putting on her compact. She remembered their small moments and unknowingly a small smile appeared on her face. Her thoughts broke when she heard a knock on her door. She went there to open the door and Abhishek was standing there with a parcel in his hand. Yn frowned as she let him come inside. Abhishek kept that on her bed and laid down.

"Bhai kitna bhari tha ye"

(Bro how heavy it was)

"Tu gym kyu jaata h fir?"

(Why you go to gym then?)

Yn said looking at him in disbelief. Abhishek opened his eyes and got up. He went near her and pulled her closer by her shoulder from side and started walking with her. He was looking ahead but yn was looking at him in disbelief.

"Dekh meri gyming pe kabhi shkq mat karna..wo to Mai abhi kitna kaam rha tha isliye thak gya!"

(See, don't doubt on my gyming ever..I was doing so much work that's why I was tired!)

"Ha ha..jayiye ab..hme taiyaar hone dijiye Abhishek ji!"

(Yes yes..go now..lemme me get ready Abhishek Ji!)

"Tu to pj tshirt me hi acchi lagti hai. Aise hi aaja.."

(You look good in only pj and tshirt. Come like that only..)

"Accha joke tha..ab Jaa"

(That was a good joke..now go)

"Tareef bhi ab buri Lage to bhad me jao"

(If praising too feels bad then go to hell)

Abhishek shrugged his shoulders and left from there as she chuckled hearing him. Sometimes she feels blessed to have such friends from her childhood who stayed with her in her bests and worsts. She looked at the parcel and wondered that she didn't order something in these days then what was that? Curiosity raised as she opened it. There was a letter in it with a beautiful dress. She frowned and opened the letter.

<I guess your ankle is fine. Actually I'm sending this to see how you're gonna look in it so, can you please wear that for me?..

Yn was really taken aback as she didn't expect him to send something like this to you. She glanced over the dress and it was really beautiful. The embroidery was something which enhanced the dress's beauty more. With that, it has matching jwellery and sandals. He kept in his mind about her ankle and hence sent two pair of sandals, one is heel and second is flats. Yn smiled and let an airy laugh.
