Chapter 8

THE NEXT DAY

It's finally the starting of wedding rituals as today is Haldi. It's an Indian ritual, usually marking the beginning of a proper Indian wedding. In this, a holy turmeric paste, which have the blessings of God and the elders, is applied on both the couples. And yes, not to forget..there will be so much fun.

Currently Yn and Ayaan were checking onto the decorations and all. They were all ready for the function as the elders still didn't arrive. Ratan's parents and relatives were not there too.

"Ayaan..maa aur papa ko bol de..wo aajaye ab!"

(Ayaan..call mom and dad now!)

"Sab hogya wha pe?"

(Everything's done there?)

"Ha ha..sab kuch hogya"

(Yes yes.. everything's done)

The sibling duo were talking on their phones as they were on the other side of the lawn. Everything was supervised by Yn and Ayaan as they both had their master's degree in designing. Ayaan then hung up the call and dialled his dad's number. After few minutes, he picked it up and responded.

"Papa saa..aap sabhi log aa jayiye..sab kuch set hai"

(Dad..you all can come now... everything's set)

"Thik hai..Yn kha hai?"

(Okay..Where's Yn?)

"Didi kuch aur decorations dekh rhi hai!"

(Sister is looking for some decorations!)

"Hm..aate hai ham sabhi"

(Hm..we all are coming)

Ayaan replied 'yes' and hung up the call. He popped himself on the couch and closed his eyes while putting his head on the wall. Yn came and saw her dear brother resting. She smirked as a mischievous idea came across her mind. She walked towards him and stood there.

"Aakriti??!!"

She said loudly making Ayaan flinch and fall down from the sofa. Yn laughed so hard as Ayaan looked here and there but find no girl as 'Aakriti'. He saw yn who was laughing so bad making him whine so much, and why not! Aakriti teases him so much!

"Yaar kya hai Yn?"

(What's wrong with you Yn?)

"Tu abhi bhi kitna conscious hai Akku ko lekar!"

(You're still so conscious in matter of Akku!)

Yn said while laughing her ass her but Ayaan just sulked more and more. But suddenly, a voice came from the entrance of the lawn, more like a scream tho. Yn looked towards the entrance and stopped laughing. After few moments when Ayaan felt no more laughs, he looked at Yn who screamed so loudly making him flinch badly. Yn ran towards the owner of the voice and hugged that person so tightly making her cough.
