so i have this really good idea i had for a bakugo book i thought about writing , but i could never find the time to write. plus my writing sucks absolute ass , but this idea is free to use :) just credit thou
- fantasy AU F!reader
- bakugo has a alzheimers , and is in serious condition
- reader is a traveling doctor, and is well known across kingdoms
- bakugo has character development !!
- when the reader treats him, she finds out hes developing alzheimers and there is a medicine to improve it but she has to travel back overseas to get it since the kingdom was very far away
- while she treated him everyday, he started to fall in love with her, at first, she didn't feel the same, she only saw it as just doing her job, it was nothing new
- but, she was starting to develop feelings for him by the time she was preparing to leave to find the medicine, she tried pushing her feelings back down but every time she saw him, her feelings would increase
- so when the day came she had to leave, bakugo had gained the courage to confess to her, but she was still unsure. she was only a doctor and he was her patient, plus, the queen would definitely unapprove since it was very uncommon for a king in line to marry a simple doctor.
- she told him to wait, as still she was still scared of what the queen would have to say about their relationship
- when she was gone, bakugos alzheimers had gotten worse, and he started to forget about her. she was nothing but a lost memory.
- by the time she came back with the medicine, she had started to enliven herself, and told him how she felt.
- mind you, he didn't say an entire word the whole morning, but the king and queen told her that his disease had gotten a little worse the past few days while she was gone. as they were explaining it to her, y/n pushed the bad feeling down she had, and still gained the courage to confess
- when she went to give the medicine to bakugo, she started to explain how she felt, and he did nothing but sit there
- "who are you again?" he said
- " never mind, sorry, uhm you just remind me of someone i know." she said, pushing back the overflow of tears. " i should've listened.." she thought
- overtime, bakugo's Alzheimer's had improved. his symptoms of Alzheimer's had decreased day by day. but he had forgotten about y/n all together.
- the queen had invited y/n back for dinner through their personal messenger. even though y/n didn't wanna go back, she forced herself to go, just being polite
- by the time dinner came, the king and queen offered y/n a huge salary for treating their son, and y/n refused. she said she was only doing her job, but they kept insisting, so she took it
- they had also offered a place in the palace, since their was an empty bedroom, and they would have y/n closer to them without her having to travel across kingdoms once again to treat bakugo
- she told them yes, and began to stay with them, but her feelings for bakugo never changed, her feelings for him developed overtime as they fell in love during her time in the palace
- a few months later, y/n's parents had sent a message to the king and queen, requesting that y/n come home for an important emergency
- y/n and went home and her parents informed her that they arranged a marriage with a man that lived a few kingdoms over.
- she told them no, and they had gotten into a heated argument, and so her parents told the opposite kingdom that the marriage will be arranged, and that she could go back to bakugo's kingdom
- she went back home HEATED, and told bakugo all about it, and so he had an idea
- they would run away to the other side of the world, where no one could find them, and they could start a life together, building a paradise for them only.
- so they planned an escape ; when everyone inside the palace was asleep, they would sneak out the escape tunnel in the basement and into the woods. bakugo had some food stashes they could eat and some other needed appliances.
- the night of the escape came, and they pushed through successfully.
- fast forward, and they were already on the other side of the world, guards and wanted posters were everywhere, and the marriage for y/n was called off, since the prince from the kingdom they were supposed to marry had called her a 'rebel' and bakugo a 'mistake'.
- y/n and bakugo still started a family like they said they would, and made their own kingdom over the years. and they lived happily ever after !
