You know when you're in a fight with your boyfriend or girlfriend. It can get HEATED! Welp, I know they can be all like, "Stop ignoring me you insignificant bastard!", or something along those lines. And you're like, "I'M NOT IGNORING YOU YOU FAT OLD HAG" (guys, I'm looking at you). Instead, you could say this.
"Honey, I'm not ignoring you. I'm just absent mindedly choosing not to listen to you!"
This might earn you a punch in the mouth. But it's better to have a few teeth missing then have your significant other wear your kidneys as a scarf.
