People have always said the truth is what you make it.
I say the truth is what happened, no matter how painful it may be.
It is not a person's job to decide what the truth really is.
It is only their job to decide how to handle it.

Name: "My name? Oh, well I'm Amara Griffin. There isn't really anything special about me, so don't expect much~"
Age: "Why do you want to know my age? Right...well I'm twenty three."
Gender: "If you think I'm a male, you're senile." Female.
Pronouns: "Oh, well I never really thought about it. I guess I'd say she/her."
Species: "...I'm human. Are there different answers?" It should be noted that Amara is a very realistic person. Seeing is believing, as they say, and she doesn't believe in the supernatural.
Appearance: "Umm blonde hair, greyish blue eyes, nothin' fancy." Some people say that in certain light, her eyes almost look violet.
Height: "Oh...umm I'd rather not say." She's 5'2. She doesn't like to disclose her height because people often make short jokes.
Style: "I'd say my style is professional, but comfortable." She often wears black jeans and loose white button up shirts. On occasion, she'll be seen wearing a skirt, but that's only if she's feeling more feminine. While makeup is something she always wears, her style is considered to be more androgynous when it comes to the workplace. However, when she's at home - if she makes it home - you can find her in pajama shorts and oversized hoodies.
Sexuality: "You need to know that? Oh. Well I'm straight." Amara doesn't feel the need to say she's an ally because she feels it's not something she should really have to say.
Religion: "I'm not really a religious person." Once again, Amara is a "seeing is believing" kind of person. She doesn't really have an opinion on religion and would probably be considered an Atheist.
Personality: "I don't really know how to describe that, but most people would say I'm a workaholic." Amara is indeed a workaholic. She puts all her effort into the things she does so if she applies herself to something, you know for a fact that she is giving it her all. She is someone who will legitimately work herself into the ground if that's what it takes for her work to be near perfection. It's safe to say that when it comes to anything she does, writing, planning out her day, planning anything, really, she's very meticulous; everything needs to be in order. The truth is something she highly values and it's something she looks for when she's writing her papers, whether it's for the news outlet she works for or for her own personal on-the-side blog. She believes in giving the truth to people, even if it isn't necessarily what they want to hear, and when it comes to relationships, she isn't known to lie. There are certain things that Amara likes to keep private, but she will admit that instead of claiming something that isn't true. She's a very loyal person and she wants others to feel comfortable around her which isn't always easy considering what she does for a living. Additionally, she is generally pretty introverted, shy even. It takes her a while to really open up to people and she typically keeps to herself. She's the type of girl that would rather curl up in her bed with a good book instead of going out and drinking with friends if and when she does have a bit of free time. Her social circle is definitely small, but she doesn't need a lot of friends to feel loved. As long as she has a few, that's all that really matters to her. Amara is also pretty literal. Her sense of humor is pretty bland in all honesty and when others make jokes, she's the one to take it literally. She's the kind of person to make people laugh unintentionally. But even with her being literal and her firm belief in the truth, she is never cruel about it. She's a very kind and loving soul and the last thing she'd want is to see someone hurt because of something she said.
