Summer school

First day

"Are you ready?" The queen says as I fix my suit in the mirror before looking at her. I nod as we start walking to the photo room. "Matt, a decision has been made." She says as I look at her .

"Okay, so what is it?" I ask "We decided we're sending you to summer boarding school." She says as I furrow my eyebrows "What! That's not fair! I did nothing wrong!" I yell as she shushes me up "The decision has been made, also it's the same one your brother went to when he was about your age. So you'll have people to guide you." She says fixing the cuffs on her shirt. "Also, your behavior has been unacceptable and if we want to put a good image out there you have to get better, and the first step is this." She says as we walk in "But-" "It's final." She says quietly before sitting on the opposite side of the couch as my dad. My brother sits by her as I sit by the king.

"You two switch." He says to me and Elias. We stand up switching as he whispers to me "This is good." He nods as I know he's talking about the school. "Smile" the man says with a camera.

+FLASH+

I analyze the school as we drive up. This school had little dorms that I have to stay in. As I step out paparazzi runs as I squint my eyes. The body guards come and lead me to me room. People stare as I walk by but I ignore them, I hear whispers and whistles walking down the hall. I finally get into my dorm and the body guards stand outside my door. I set my bag down before sitting on my bed.

I look out the window hearing singing I notice a boy. He was writing in a notebook and singing the words. I smirk "Crown prince the ceremony for your coming is starting in 10 minutes." One of my body guards tells me as I nod. I look out the window again but he was gone.

I get up following my body guards down to a little building that kinda looked like a temple inside. There was a choir standing in the front as everyone with in seats. I hear my brother call my name as I furrow my eyebrows in confusion looking at him. I walk over sitting down between him and his best friend when he went here Devin.

"What are you doing here?" I ask "It's your first day at my old school. I wanted to see you before I won't be able to" he says as I nod. I look up to the choir noticing the same guy I saw singing. He was in the middle standing tall and confident. They all start to harmonize except for him. Then he started to solo, I admire his voice. "He sounds like an angel." I say "That's Odin Harding, he's the lead of the choir." Devin says as I smile.

Odin looks at me still singing and smiles. I feel butterflies in my stomach as I get goosebumps. I stop smiling confused at what just happened. I look at my brother as he's still watching the choir.

I look back at Odin. He had beautiful brown curls and dark green eyes. He had a really nice face shape and a really pretty smile. I smile again as I can't help it.

The ceremony ended as I was talking to Devin and some of his buddies. "Nice singing" One of them says to Odin as he walks by "Thanks." He says giving me a glance before walking out. They all start to laugh as I watch him leave. "Uh, I'll be right back. I have to use the Lou." I say before running after Odin.

"Hey!" I yell as Odin turns around. I get butterflies again "Oh, hi?" He says turning all the way around. "Do you need something?" He asks confused. "Oh, no. I just wanted to say that your performance was really good." I say as he smiles "Thanks." He says before continuing to walk. "Wait! I'm Matthew" I say running next to him. "I know who you are, everyone does." Odin say "I'm Odin." He says "I know." I say back as he looks at be confused "Devin told me." I say as he his face dropped "Oh, you guys are friends?" He asks "Eh I don't know. He was my brother Elias best friend." I say as he nods looking down "Why are you here anyway?" He asks looking back up "Oh uh, I got in a little fight..and some other stuff." I say as he nods.

The bell rings.

"Oh well I better get going to class." He says walking away.

I've heard about having a friend crush but it's never really happened because everyone wanted to be my friend. Now I wanna be someone else's friend so bad and it's like he doesn't.

I lay in my bed looking up at the ceiling. Bouncing my tennis ball in each hand back and forth. Before I hear chatter outside my room. "You can't come in." I hear my body guard say "It won't be long!" I hear a Odin say. I hurry and sit up "Odin?" I say quietly before quickly getting up and swinging the door open. They both look at me. "Lucy it's fine, it's just one of my friends." I say before grabbing Odins arm and yanking him inside slamming the door behind me. "What are you doing here?" I ask "I felt bad having to leave the conversation like that" he says, I smirk "I don't really know what to talk about now." I chuckle as he smiles "Yea, me neither. I guess I didn't really think about it." He laughs a little.

I look back before looking at him again. "Do you wanna go for a walk?" I say quietly as he nods "but why are you whispering." He asks "Because I wanna have a walk with you, alone. And if we leave through that door they will follow us." I say as he looks at the door, back at me, then at the window. I look at the window too before smirking at him. We both walk over to the window as I lift it up. I climb out before helping him out. I grab him by his waist helping him down as we both laugh. He Looks at my hands still on his waist as I hurry and take them off. "Let's go." I say walking as he runs a little after me.

New series. I'm still gonna be writing on the kidnapper but rn I've lost motivation for that book. This book is inspired a little by young royals and heart stopper. But it has its own story. They are Australian and British so that's why there will be some weird words in this. enjoy!
