It's nearing to three o'clock so Alex decided to leave the house and get in her car and drive to coffee shop. After I arrived I put my sunglasses on to hide my face as I got out of the car and locked it.
I entered the cafe as the bell rang I ordered a coffee and saw Lizzie in the corner of the shop to not attract attention.
I payed and took my coffee and went over the table, she saw me coming and gave me a welcome hug.
"Hey Liz." I smiled once we finished the hug and sat down in our seats.
"Hey Alex." She smiles taking a sip of her drink before placing it down and clasping her hands in front of her on the table. "So how have you been?" She asks easily
"I'm good, busy but good." I shrug chuckling, before asking the same question back
"I'm fine, just waiting for the premier to arrive now." She mentions the Marvel premiere that's in just over a month now.
"I know, I can't wait to see the final thing." I grin, sipping my tea. "Anyways you got a date for it?"
"Nope." She pops the 'p'. "Both my sisters are begging me to bring one of them." She playfully rolls her eyes. "What about you?"
"Sofia." I say my best friends name.
...
"Well I better get going I've got another photoshoot tomorrow." I smile standing up with my empty cup.
"Who with?" She asks not taking her eyes off me.
I shrug the feeling of her eyes off as I put my empty cup on the tray for dirty dishes. "Scarlett again." I smile as I turn around and put my jacket on.
"Cool." She whispers seeming a little sad as she stands up. "Bet you'll look great."
I smile at her as a thank you as we start leaving the cafe.
As soon as we step out of the cafe a swarm of paparazzi comes up to us. I had bad anxiety but I also knew Lizzie had it bad as well so I had to be the brave one and get her out of the crowd and to her Uber.
I grabbed Lizzie's hand and squeezed it so she knew it was me. We connected eyes and I pulled her closer but not too close as I started moving our way out of the crowd. Trying my best not to hurt anyone, even if I did want to slap some of them.
Covering my eyes as best as I could was a challenge as there was flashing lights everywhere and I was pushing mine and Lizzie's way through the paparazzi still.
