It took around twenty minutes or so far a car to pull up close by. Alex stood up on the little dock and turned around her watching Scarlett get out of the car.
Alex smiled softly when Scarlett came closer and rushed into her open arms. Scarlett wrapped her arms around Alex's neck instantly, as the brunettes arms went around Scarlett's back.
They stood like that for a little while just enjoying each others presences that they've missed over the two months.
"You left." Scarlett whispered, stepping back but not too far, Alex's arms didn't leave the other girls back.
"I'm here now." Alex whispered back watching Scarlett's face. "I-" Alex gulped her tears away she had did enough crying over the two months. "I'm sorry, Scar."
"I know." She smiled softly.
"You."
"What?" She asks confused tilting her head slightly.
"I choose you. Even since I slept at yours for the first night. It was never Lizzie, it was you Scar." I whisper looking her in the eyes for the first time since I saw her.
