Connor started his day the way he always did.... As a deep sleeper who hated waking up. He groaned as his alarm went off, slowly, limb by limb, pulled himself out of bed, trudged to the other side of his room to the desk where the alarm he hated so very much kept on making noise, and turned his alarm off. Sighing heavily, he began getting dressed, wearing a worn out KISS T-shirt, he yawned heavily and began doing his morning stretches and exercises he did as a routine to keep himself healthy. Apparently he was autistic... So when his PE teacher told him it was important to exercise every morning, he didn't question it, and it just became a part of his morning routine. Connor was well formed for a young man his age, lean muscles subtly existed along his arms, his legs were thick with muscle, his shoulders broad, and he even had such a tight stomach, it looked like he might begin forming abs soon.

As far as Connor was concerned, his life was fine, he wasn't past the age of likely getting adopted, though he was getting there, and he didn't exactly want to get adopted anyways. He rather liked it here .. he liked the familiarity of it, the routine of everything, he had food, shelter, and even a friend! Why would he want anything to change? Looking over at the window, he squinted as he realized something.

"Fuck daylight savings... That shit is so bloody stupid, it's not like we need it anymore, just bloody get rid of it already."

He grumped to himself, sighing, having finishing his morning routine, he opened his bedroom and went to the loo. One of the only problems with the orphanage... It only had a single lavatory. It was a big one sure, plenty of toilets, stalls, sinks and the like. However he'd seen some pretty gross stuff from the older students that he wished he hadn't... He was grateful for having his own room, he was one of the few that did. Though that was less due to luck and more due to his... Inability to play well with others, to out it mildly.

walking into the loo, he used one of the urinals, then walked to a sink to begin brushing his teeth, afterward he'd begin his shower and then head to school, it was at the moment he blinked in surprise as his eyes moved to look at someone from the side

"Hur erhee"

He spoke around his tooth brush.

Ava was rushing through the morning as normal, having slept as late as possible her eyes were puffy and tired and she was brushing through her hair as quickly as it could, the hair making small rip noises as she did, the anxiety of needing to get to school during the week ruining her weekend mornings as well pushing her through her fatigue.
As she hears the muffling coming from her right she turns to see connor, holding back a giggle as she paused in brushing the mess that was her hair
"What was that?"

Connor looked back at her for a moment, closing his eyes in annoyance, he took a deep breath through his nose and let it out through his nose, finishing brushing his teeth, he spat it out, rinsed his mouth out, and then looked to Ava with a calm expression
"I said you're early... I normally don't see you till breakfast because you're doing..."
He gestured to all of her like she was a mess
"All of that while I'm taking a shower. Did... Did you... Actually remember to set your alarm?"He feigned concern, though a small teasing smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.
"You alright there?"

Looking back at connor with a huff she sticks her tongue out at him as she continues brushing her hair, keeping her gaze on her reflection in the mirror

"you dont have to be rude. and im just trying to get up earlier..."

Connor shook his head and chuckled, walking over to one of the shower stalls he closed the door behind him and began to undress, the foggy disfigured glass barely hiding his form.
"Pish posh... You've been trying to get up earlier for aaaages miss baker! Suuuurely you must be able to imagine my surprise!"
He continued to tease her, this time mocking one of their stuck up teachers as he did so. Poorly imitating them on purpose.

Giggling at his impression Ava shakes her head, blushing a little as her eyes flicker to the shower and back, remembering how see through the shower was. starting to finish her hair she huffs at the surprised comment*
"i'm trying here ok!"

Connor couldn't help the smile that came to his lips
"and you're doing so great Ava"
He laughed a little, taking only a few minutes to get properly showered, pulling his towel into the stall with him he began drying off
".....so... Any idea what's for breakfast?"
He asked cautiously, he never liked that there was no art schedule for breakfast, he could never truly prepare for whether or not he'd be eating that morning.
