Being the first to arrive at what the small group called a clubhouse Ezra made his way down to the basement, careful of broken floorboards or discarded glass, getting to the basement he relaxes, sitting on one of the chairs he takes one of the many sodas out of his bag, cracking one open as he takes a sip, just enjoying the quiet, the only noises around being the distant hum of cars on the pavement, until the muffled noises came from outside.

Outside Connor chuckled at Ava's joke, and to play along he flipped his non existent long hair over his shoulder and posed in as feminine a way as possible

"Why thank you Ava darling, how ever did you know."
And like the yellow crusty grass was a runway, he walked towards the house like he was on a catwalk, before walking through the door like a diva. Once inside, he made his way through the house down into the basement in a fashion that suggested he'd memorized every step he needed to take to get there safely, which with the amount of times he'd done so... he had. Making sure ava was behind him the whole way he makes his way down, Seeing Ezra he holds his hand up, ready to catch.
"Hit me"
He gestured to the bag with a jut of his chin.

A wide grin on ezras face as his friends join him he tosses a can to connor, looking over to ava he holds one out

"want one?"

With a small smile Ava shakes her head

"No that's ok, i'm honestly just hungry"

Ezra's grin widening he takes out four bags, all containing 3 muffins, a small chocolate bar and a granola bar

"i think of everything of course!"

Handing her a bag Ezra smiles to her, looking back to connor with one of the bags in his outstretched hand

"want one?"

Connor shakes his head

"no thanks... No offense but I kinda prefer the stuff Anna brings in anyways..."

Connor, suddenly realizing Annabelle wasn't there yet, he furrows his eyebrows in concern.

"Where is she? She's normally here first..."

Getting a wide smile when she was handed the food she was eating hungrily, not seeming to notice Connor was even speaking

Ezra smiling a little at Avas smile he looks back to Connor, shrugging

"she wasn't here when i got here...it was eerily quiet for this time of day actually..."

It was only a moment later when Annabella finally made an appearance, walking down into the basement, her hair covering her left eye she keeps her lips pursed and head down, carrying a heavy bag on her shoulder she drops it and coughs, clearing her throat a bit

"Sorry I'm late I uh... Had a rough morning this time"

Her voice was hoarse and she looked ashamed.

Ezra's eyes widening he quickly gets up, moving the back pack he motions for connor to grab his bag

"my foster mum keeps so many medical supplies she never misses them"

Ava's head shooting up as Ezra bolts towards the stairs her eyes widen seeing Annabella's sorry state, she quickly finishes one of the muffins, setting everything down she rushes over, standing far enough to give Annabella and Ezra space

Connor felt his blood boil and his heart drop at the same time. It was stuff like this that made him want to avoid being adopted... There weren't a whole lot of adults he respected. Dashing for the bag he tosses it to Ezra.

"I wish that prick would kick the can already..."

Connor watched Ezra tend to Anna helplessly, wanting to pace but knowing that only increased Annabella's anxiety.
