(Y/N) handed the DNA sample to Lifeline and she stored it in a hidden safe to keep it safe since they still got a mission to complete.
Later that night, (Y/N) was with Revenant in their room at the Apex Hotel and they were just laying in bed, watching the TV.
"You think that tracker we planted on Octane will lead us to Duardo?" She asked curiously as the simulacrum looked at her and hummed.
"It will." Revenant nodded. "Crypto made it himself, and I don't think that skinbag has ever failed in his inventions."
"I don't think he has either." (Y/N) hummed before getting comfortable in the bed and yawned tiredly. "You going to sleep?" All she got was a hum as the TV was turned off, so was the lamp before some shuffling noises was heard before she felt being pulled into Revenant's metalic chest. "Goodnight, Revvy."
"Night, (Y/N)."
---
As the early hours of the morning came around, Revenant had woken up and saw that (Y/N) was fast asleep so he took this moment to stand up and go to see Loba.
"Trouble in paradise?" He asked, having snuck in her room, witnessing the arguing between Valkyrie and Loba. The woman had tears down her cheeks, staining black due to her makeup.
"What do you want?" She simply asked, being in no mood to talk now. "Aren't you supposed to be with (Y/N)?"
"She's resting." He simply answered before continuing to talk like he always does. "What do you want, Loba? To kill the monster under the bed? Avenge your parents with a happily ever after?" She then stood up with a quiet groan. "That's what you said you wanted. Was it not? Instead... You've destroyed your life to make sure I keep suffering. Bad news, girly. With (Y/N) there, she makes me feel less suffering. I really hope your attempts were worth it."
"It's better than letting you go!" She snapped.
"Quiet!" He hissed, standing up straight. "Don't want to wake her up."
"Just..." She was now quiet, looking away before seeing him now standing in front of her.
"It's my life or your life. Which one do you want more?" Revenant knew that Loba was pushing everyone away just to make him suffer. The simulacrum is always suffering, regardless of the time of day and who he spends it with. He will never be healed and Loba knows this all too well.
"Ey!" Lifeline opened the door, leaning against it. Well, the door was already opened due to Valkyrie leaving a minute ago. "Got a location on Duardo as long as O is with him." Revenant looked at Lifeline. The tracking worked before looking at Loba again.
"I'll even let you pull the trigger."
"Let's finish this." Loba wiped her tears away before the three walked out of the room. "If this does end you, what will (Y/N) think?" She now stopped herself and the larger being.
"(Y/N) knows of my suffering. She will be sad and angry of course, but will know it is what is best." Revenant simply answered. "I will not discuss this further." He then left to get (Y/N) ready to the mission ahead.
"Do ya think (Y/N) will be okay?" Lifeline asked Loba, walking over.
"I don't know. I do care of her health, but being in love with that demon is difficult to get around."
"I know, but we all know what can happen if Revenant is being controlled. He will kill us all with not a single thought. Including (Y/N)."
"Your right."
---
They walked into the location of Duardo and Octane. Crypto decided to sit this out since the pain in his side was increasing, and he was sorted out the DNA sample he was received. Therefore, the group consisted on Loba, Valkyrie, Lifeline, Mad Maggie, Revenant and (Y/N).
