Chapter 9

"Revenant..." (Y/N) groaned as the robotic man kept her as close as possible. Her whole body was against his as he rubbed his hands up her soft and fragile back.

"I could crush you right now..." He whispered and used a finger to go down the front of her body. "Soo soft and weak. I could crush it all."

"Please don't." She giggled while he pulled his hand back.

"I wouldn't hurt you on purpose. That is a promise of my cold, dead heart."

The covers prevented anyone to see their actions while loud music was being played. They could do anything they wanted right now, but rather not.

(Y/N) stood up and rubbed Revenant's soft, yet sharp cheek. He smirked as he stood up too and picked up his skull which also had yellow optics.

"Lets go. We will be taking off soon." Revenant felt their presence in Kings Canyon and gave (Y/N) a nice rub on the back before leaving his area to get to the launching area.

(Y/N) and Revenant decided to land at The Pit because they heard about good loot there. Rumours were told about a Purple Evo Shield being there. When they landed at their destination, there was no Purple Evo.

"By the way, (Y/N)? Why did you bring a back pack?" He asked as she smiled.

"I thought we could have a picnic somewhere since we are already in the ring."

"Sounds like an good plan." Revenant smiled as they went to climb up to a place where no one could find them.

They stood on a rock that was covered is dry moss as (Y/N) took off her back pack. She got out a blanket, sandwichs, snacks and drinks as they saw the waterfall flowing in the distance.

"This is beautiful, Revenant." She smiled as she began to eat a sandwich.

"We may not be allowed to do this, but anything to stay with you is worth it."

"It's not against the rules soo..." (Y/N) shrugged while he picked up a sandwich, looked away and ate it. She couldn't see how he ate.

"I. Am. Beautiful." Revenant chuckled as (Y/N) giggled and had a quick drink. Revenant also had a drink. "So... you like picnics, huh?"

"Yeah. It was something I did when I was a child." She sighed and looked down.

"A sweet, human girl that could've been crushed by me a long time ago." He joked as (Y/N) pushed him playfully.

"That's not nice!" She smirked as he looked at her deadly.

"Want to try that again?" He threatened as she pushed him again with a huge smile layed across her face. "Oh that's it!" He grabbed her and pinned her to the ground and whispered into her ear. "I am your nightmare."

"Nightmare? More like a dream come true!" She smirked and wrapped her smaller arms around the robots back.

The ring was around the bunker so they had to move it soon. (Y/N) groaned in annoyance as she packed up everything to head out.

"Let's go Revenant." She walked forward but there was no answer. "Revenant?" She turned around to see him leaking oil from his head. "Rev!" (Y/N) pushed him behind a boulder and picked him back up. He sighed in relief. "What happened?"

"It's not safe here. I got snipped." He healed up as (Y/N) used her Triple Take to find out where the enemies were. She found a Mirage holding a Kraber, aiming at someone else from a huge distance. Thankfully, he wasn't at Bunker so the couple could make an easy run there to hide out for a minute or so.

Revenant used his R-301 to shoot down Bangalore as she yelled for help. Her teammate, Wattson appeared and shot at me as I unleashed my tigers at her. She kled one and the other did 40 damage, slightly breaking her purple body shield.

The robot placed his Death Totem as we hurried to kill the team. I got sent back, but Revenant killed Wattson just before his time ran out.

"Well done, Rev!"

"Revenant." He corrected her with a harsh growl.

"I'm sorry... Well done, REVENANT!" She yelled as he chuckled and finished his looting. "Two more squads. Us vs two more people."

"I think they are a Bloodhound and Mirage." Revenant looked around by peaking above the Bunker's wall. He saw Mirage running around with Bloodhound and many decoys. "What on earth!?" He snarled as shot at a decoy, accidentally pinning their position. "Oh, ass!"

"Revenant! Follow me!" She ran from the Bunker into small houses nearby. He accepted and followed her. "We can camp here until the ring gets small enough for an attack."

"I want to kill them now, but fine." He sat down and looked at his hand.

"What's wrong?"

"My hand hurts for some reason." He twisted it as it snapped in the palm. Revenant hissed in pain as (Y/N) grabbed a bandage and wrapped his palm up thinly. "How can I use a gun!?"

"Simple. Fire with you left hand." She smiled as he nodded.

The ring was very small as they knew they had to leave now before they got trapped.

They saw the last team firing at them as they hidden behind rocks.

"I'll go left. You go right!" Revenant demmanded as they ran to their areas, shooting the squad.

Bloodhound shot (Y/N) while Mirage shot Revenant.

(Y/N) knocked Bloodhound with her Havoc.

Mirage knocked Revenant with a Spitfire.

Now... it was (Y/N) VS Mirage!

"I will get you!" (Y/N) yelled before firing at Mirage with all that she got.

(Y/N)'s eyes snapped open as she looked around the room. She lost... against Mirage.

"I am sorry Reve-" She didn't see him anywhere. She sighed and heard a muffled scream. It was Revenant!

She quickly ran out to see Apex Mechanics checking his hand. It was more than a sprain.

"What happened?" (Y/N) walked over as Revenant smiled even though his face is unable to move.

"My hand has a wiring and functioning problem." He held her hand with his good hand and went to kiss it.

"How often does that happen?" She asked sitting in a nearby seat.

"About twice a year at most." He looked at it to ses that mechanics had opened his hand up, releasing black oil. "I'm not thanking you for helping me."

"You're welcome, Revenant. Your welcome."
