Jason's time in Lucha Underground would be quite the decent amount of time. He's already had a few matches since his first against Killshot, even being tested by Son of Havoc, Alberto El Patron, and a former rival of his father, Chavo Guerrero Jr. Tonight's edition he was going up against the "King" of Lucha Libre, King Cuerno, and people were saying this was going to be quite the daunting task ahead for the "Prince" of Lucha Libre.
The King was backstage, looking through a mirror at his own reflection. As for the Prince, he was walking out in the cold, obviously preparing himself for quite the match tonight. They honored themselves for their heritage and for the mask, and it was because of that they wouldn't let each other one up the other. Melissa Santos was currently inside of the ring, ready to call the competitors to the ring.
Melissa Santos: The following Lucha is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Tijuana, Mexico, Jason Mysterio Jr!
Jason comes out from the crowd, crawling on the floor to the flight of steps. The crowd was obviously thrilled to see the Prince of Lucha here, as was Matt Stryker and Vampiro.
Stryker: [Laughing] Well, quite the attire of Jason Mysterio Jr, partner...
Vampiro: In honor of Marvel's Spider-Man, and you're right, Matt: Quite thrilling for Jason to wear something like this for this match. He'll need to have that speed against someone like King Cuerno.
Stryker: Maybe, but I heard people talking about this confrontation tonight. You wanna know what they called it?
Vampiro: [Curious] What did they call it?
Stryker: They called it: The Prince vs. The King of Lucha, and I believe it. You have Jason Mysterio Jr, the young lion and King Cuerno, the king of the pride. That young cub walks in, wants the throne for his own, and the king stands in his way.
