Oscar:
My eyes follow her through the door and way down the hallway before I dare to move a muscle. I can feel my skin still burning from the touch of her skin on mine. Electricity shooting up my arms or mini fireworks going off under my skin. It feels like someone doused me in petrol then set me alight. I shouldn't be feeling like this from just a slight touch. Shouldn't be feeling this for someone I hate. These confusing emotions are going to toy with me like they did today, and I don't really know if I want them to stop.

Before I let my thoughts consume me, I go to where Eliana was looking before I walked in on her and grab my mum's purse. I'll talk to her later. Or I might just leave it to fester. Let them do what they want. Because, as much as I don't want to think about it, is it what i want? I'm scared of the answer, mostly because I think it's a yes.

I take a breath to steady myself then walk out the room, acting as if I was in there for a purpose, and not locked in.

Walking to my driver room I notice that Lando's light is still on, so he must still be here. Weird, he's usually one of the first to leave. It's not extremely late yet, a few fans still loitering along the paddock and around the track, but a time where most people have left already. So, again, it's weird that Lando is still here.

I push the thought aside as I open the door to my room and walk in. I jump as I shut the door, looking up to see Lando sat, scrolling on his phone.

"Hello. What the fuck are you doing?" I say sharply, back against the door.

"Oh, hey mate. Was wondering when you were gonna get back." He smiles at me.

"1, that didn't answer my question. 2, what the fuck does that mean?"

"Huh?" Lando raises his eyebrows, confusion washing over his face.

I drop my mums purse on the table and turn towards him again, "come on, I'm not in the mood."

He huffs in response, "fine. If you really want to know, I was waiting for you."

"May I ask why?"

"No reason."

"So you just waited for me at ,may I add, a time that you never stay to... to wait for me."

"Out of the goodness of my heart." He smiles at me, lightly nodding his head.

"Out of the goodness of your heart" I repeat, not convinced. "No ulterior motives?"

"None whatsoever."

I stick my tongue in my cheek and stare at him, trying to think if he would actually do this. He knows what happened between me and Eliana, and he knows my parents love him enough to go along with it. And it's such a cliche that it must be something he saw in a movie, which is most definitely a lando move.

"So where were you for so long?" he grins at me. This bastard knows exactly where I was.

"Nowhere."

"Nowhere huh?"

"Just got this for my mum." I say, pointing to the purse on the table.

The way he is smiling at me just makes me want to punch him in the face to wipe it off. But I've got to give him points, much to my dismay, because his stupid plan worked. A stupid plan that I should've guessed was going to happen at some point.

"Next time, Lando..."

"Yeah?" He's still smiling at me.

"Don't wait for me after you lock me in a room with your media manager."

His smile drops a little, "I didn-"

"You did though." I tilt my head at him, staring at him so intensely that he takes a deep breath.
