Chapter 2

ATHENA SMILED UP AT EDWARD AS SHE walked him over to the cafeteria, her hand pulling Edward down the halls.

"Hold on a minute" Edward stopped them both as he released his hands from Athena, his hands moving to wrap around her waist, his face burying itself in her neck.
"I just want to be alone with you for 1 more moment" Athena smiled, her heart feeling like it was beating at an unhealthy speed before she turned in his arms to face him and placed her arms over his neck.

Although she did want to be alone with him, she wanted to spend time with their friends since she would see Edward again after school.

"A moment is up" she teased kissing his cheek before taking his hand once again.
"Let's go" she pulled him through the cafeteria doors, her quick excited steps causing Edward to have to walk at a quicker pace than usual.

"After all, how many times are we gonna graduate high school?" Athena picked up on Jasper's words. Alice and Jasper had taken to sitting with Bella and Athena's friendship group since Rosalie and Emmett graduated lasy year and that's who they were speaking to now, with the addition of Caleb and Bella.

"A party at your place?" Angela asked and Jessica's eyes shone with a look of shock towards the Cullens. Athena and Edward both took a seat, the table smiling at the pair as they saw the pairs linked hands.

It was good to see the back together. They just seemed so much more happier and although the humans at the table didn't know Edward's reason for leaving they couldn't be too mad when he made their friend exceptionally happy.

Jessica: "I've never seen your house"

"No ones ever seen their house" Eric added in as he leaned forward and Caleb couldn't help but send his adoptive sister a stern look remembering the last time the Cullens had a party. It ended with Bella almost dying, and them leaving.

"Another party Alice?"

"It'll be fun"

"Yeah. That's what you said last time" Alice didn't get a chance to defend her idea against Bella as she slumped back into her chair with a dazed look on her eyes and Athena was too busy watching Edward's reaction to the vision to notice Angela's confused expression.
