Beep. Beep.
I look up at the heart monitor. I've been here since 6:30 listing to it for 4 hours. It calmed me though, at least it meant her heart was still beating. I look down back to my hands the held a pale one with many scratches. Both of our hand were covered in my tears. I couldn't stop them from falling even though she should be alright.
I look up to her face. It was pale with a deep cut on her cheek. Her red unatural hair covered half of her face over one of her closed eyes. She looked calm despite what happened.
"I'm sorry Chloe." I whisper into her hand then placing a gentle kiss on it.
~flashback~
I ran into the hospital tears streaming down my face. I made my way to the counter signing in before running to the 4th floor. I saw doctors in the end of the hall rushing in and out. I ran over there and that when I saw it. Chloe was on a bed asleep. Her face had cuts along with her hands. But what hurt me the most was the exrays of 3 broken ribs near her lungs and a smashed leg with the bones in tinny pieces.
"Emma you have to wait to see her." A familiar voice said.
"I need to see her Doctor Stump!" I screamed at him with tears flowing down my cheeks even harder now. I looked at the short man with red hair. He is the one who called me to tell me Chloe was in a serious car accident.
"You have to wait. The doctors will need to take care of her before anyone can see her." He said pushing me to the waiting room. "I'll let you know when you can see her."
"I need her now!" I screamed angry that he is trying to separate us.
"She'll be ready in a few minutes. Let the doctors clean her up. She just got out of surgery to fix her smashed bones. Give her time." He calmed me down and sat me on a chair.
"Fine." I say taking out my phone texting Lissa.
Me- I'm at the hospital. Grab the others and Ill explain when you get here. I'm on the 4th floor hurry!
Lissa- we are coming right now
I put my phone down and grabbed a tissue wiping up my tears from behind my mask. In 10 minutes I see all my friend rushing to me. I explained all what happened until Doctor Stump came back into the room.
"Emma you can now go see her. But your friends should stay here so it doesn't get crowded." He says as I whiped my tears from under my mask. I looked back at them with hesitation.
"Its okay. We will go back home and wait. The others can use our spare rooms so we don't need to gather them up latter on." Lissa said with kindness filling her voice.
"Okay." I say then walk to the room were Chloe waits for me still asleep.
~flashback over~
I let go of her hand grabbing my phone. I got a message from Ember. Shit I forgot! I pick it up to read the text.
Ember- hey Lissa and her girlfriend came to visit me and Luna and told me what happened. I'm so sorry by the way. I hope she gets better.
I smile as I read the text. Luna was Embers wife. They were married for 1 year now. I'm glade she texted me because if I cried more I'd dry up from water loss.
Me- thank you. Tell Lissa that I'll be here until we can leave, both of us can. I'm going to go now I got to go eat something. Bye.
I lied at the end. I didn't want food. Not now not when she's here hurt and can wake up any second now. I turned my phone of and held Chloe's hand.
"I love you." I whisper leaning over placing a soft kiss on her head.
"M-me too." She said very weak.
I look down my eyes wide open seeing hers wide open too. She leaned forward and gave me a slight kiss on the lips before backing away in pain.
"Don't move too much. You are to hurt already I'm not letting you get even more hurt." I say sturn but loving. She gives me a nodd as the door opened and Doctor Stump walked in.
"Good you woken up at the right time! So I'm going to do a check up on her so Emma if you can please leave. After that I can tell when she can go home again." He said waving me towards the door. I left sitting down with my arms in my lap. Shes okay don't worry em.
Authors note: hey guys! So I am only having one chapter up today but I'll start on the next one for tomorrow so I can get back on track with how I used to right. This chapyer was kinda crapy but I can try to fix it with the next one! But bye til next time friends!
