The Kai's were gathered around a cozy table in their dining room. The room had a glass wall and wooden door with a stained glass window in the design of a lily. The walls revealed the image of outside, but today they were covered with light blue drapes.

Shin kept glancing through an opening in the curtains and up at the sky, which made the other Kais wonder what this little boy was thinking. Shin ate quickly, the salad and angel hair pasta stood no chance against his enthusiasm.

When he was done eating, he wiped his mouth with a napkin and threw it in the trash, starting to run towards the door.

"Plate." Nishi said and Shin halted to a stop, turning to grab his plate and put it in the sink. He darted off again but Nishi said, "Hug and kiss?" while playfully crossing her arms. Shin smiled nervously and blushed as he walked back to her. He leaned up as Nishi leaned down and he hugged her around her neck, planting a big kiss on her cheek. "Thanks sweetie, you can go now." Nishi said as she let go of the small Kai. Shin practically beamed with excitement as he grinned bright.

"Thank you, Nishi!" he exclaimed as he darted out the door.

"No running inside, sweetie. And be careful out there." Nishi called out after him and she got an, "Okay!" as an answer.

Kita cleared the table of the dishes and said with a smile and a shake of his head, "That boy is something else."

Shin ran under the light of multiple moons, kneeling on a hill under the stars. Every night that there was a meteor shower he would do this. Whisper to the stars as if wishing on them. The Kais still sat at the table, watching Shin as his lips moved when he spoke.

"Aww! It's so cute how he wishes on those stars." Nishi chuckled as she pulled the curtains aside to peek at Shin.

"What's he saying?" Nanami asked as he stood next to Nishi and peered out the window.

"I don't know. Maybe he's wishing for a new teddy." Nishi chuckled. Kita walked up and said, "Shin is a wise young Kai. I think he's wishing for something much more profound than a teddy bear."

Nishi nodded and turned to Daikaio. "So, what do you think, Daikaio?" she said. Daikaio grinned and motioned to the young boy outside.

"Do you see that? That young Kai goes out there to wish on every shooting star he sees. Perhaps he's not even wishing for anything physical. Perhaps he's not even wishing. You know how he likes to talk to everything in nature." Daikaio said with a smile.

"You think so?" Nishi asked and Daikaio's answer was a nod. "Yeah, he's such a sweet boy..." Nishi trailed off then a smirk appeared on her face. "Nanami! Come on!" Nishi said as she grabbed Nanami's wrist and dragged him outside, bolting out the door.

"Alright, alright, slow down." Nanami chuckled as he followed behind the young woman.

Nishi tugged Nanami behind one of the stone pillars of the garden, watching from afar as Shin... cried?
