Wizard cookie hasn't felt so out of control in his whole life. It's so cliche, isn't it? A young boy, hopelessly in love with his best friend...
Why this wasn't any crush, Wizard had fallen head over heals for the oblivious fool. The cookie had been able to brush off his feelings and go about his life without being drastically affected, but this was starting to change. Simply being in the presence of GingerBrave sent his heart racing, his palms sweating, and he would feel dizzy and lightheaded and his heart would hurt,
And oh, doesn't it get to be too much at some point?
Wizard had always been composed. He never let his emotions affect his performance, success was his only desire. He had to work hard, any slip up is detrimental. This mentality was so ingrained in his mind he barely knew how to cope with severe feelings. When his feelings of love for Brave started to impact his fighting and magic, it immediately became a point of worry for his fellow cookies.

Wizard cookie sat silently in his room. He was trying to read his spell book to perfect his lightning strike attack. The key word is trying. He hadn't been able to focus right the entire two hours he spent trying to practice. "Curse you.." he mumbled out
"Woah, who are we cursing?" A voice rang out from behind him.
"GAH! Holy shit!" Wizard yelped. He whipped his head around and saw Chili, cackling like a hyena. Wizard felt blush crawl on his cheeks as he pulled his scarf up to cover his face. Chili's laughs faltered as she wheezed heavily, trying to breathe as normal. "Ha, ha, I'm sure you find this very entertaining Chili." Wizard stated sarcastically.
"Oh, I sure as hell do." Chili spoke, in between laughs. Finally, the spicy cookie came to a stop as she stood up straight. "Anyway, I was actually gonna ask you something" Chili said.
Wizard raised his eyebrow in interest. "Is that so? Whats your question?" He asked. Chili's humor seemed to die down as she took on a more serious expression and tone.
"Are you okay?" She asked. Now wizard was confused. The question came completely out of the blue. I mean, he was fine. Well, his spells were lacking yes, and he was struggling to focus yes, and he was constantly zoning out, yes
...
But it wasn't that big of a deal!
"I'm fine Chili, why are you even asking?"
Chili stared wizard with the most dead pan expression he'd seen.
"Mhm, you sure about that, sport?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Wizard replied, starting to get frustrated. Chili shrugged and walked over to him.
"Cmon wizard, I'm not stupid. You're just about the most focused, poised, concentrated cookie I've ever met. And it's clear you haven't exactly fit the description recently." Chili said. Wizard stayed silent, thinking back to all the instances he's been late when commanded, or lost focus mid spell, or couldn't concentrate on a battle. "I know I may not be the best person to confide in, but it's obvious that something's wrong." Chili continued. She walked over and sat beside him on the bed. "Wanna talk about it?"
Wizard put down his spell book, and let out a sigh. "Well.. I guess I have been getting distracted by something. Or more like someone," wizard mumbled. Chili raised her eyebrows in surprise, intrigued by this information.
"Someone?" She questioned
"Yeah.. I don't know if they cursed me or maybe someone else did, but I kept getting flustered and mess up my words around them. And i constantly think about them too! It's so frustrating.." wizard ranted. Chili, taken aback by this was stunned into silence. A smirk grew on her face as she realized what Wizard cookie was talking about.
"I think I know what your issue is," She stated. Wizards eyes lit up as he looked up at her for the explanation. "I think that the infamous Wizard cookie has a crush~" she said in a sing song voice.
Wizards eyes widened. "A crush!?" Wizards mind raced with this new intel. Why, it made sense. Wizard cookie head a crush. He had a crush on his best friend GingerBrave. He felt a hand on his shoulder
"Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I think you should go for it. I'm sure he likes you back." Chili spoke. Wizard smiled at her, happy he finally could tell someone.
...
"Wait, how do you know who it is?" Wizard asked.
"Please, it's obvious. It's GingerBrave, right?" Chili asked. Wizards whole face went red with embarrassment.
"Is it that obvious?" Wizard asked.
"I mean, it is to me. But Brave is so oblivious you could probably kiss him and he couldn't tell you like him." Chili said, which made sense really. Brave was as stupid as stupid could get.
"But then how can you tell he likes me back?" Wizard asked. Chili smiled and sighed, looking ahead at the window.
"He cares about you, Wizard, a whole lot more than the average cookie. He'd probably kill himself for you, even sacrifice the world. He's head over heels for you, even if he doesn't know it yet. Don't lose this chance because you were afraid." Wizard was taken aback. He never knew Chili could offer such great life advice.
"Thanks Chili, for being here, and caring." Wizard said.
"Don't get used to it." Chili replied as she reached over and ruffled his hair. Wizard laughed, and they both sat there is comforting silence.

Maybe he would confess to GingerBrave.
