CHAPTER 2 :
TALKING TO THE BAND

TW: None

Bradley helped Gabriel get settled in and get his stuff put away. Gabriel laid down on his bed and ran his fingers through his hair. "So, I texted the band and they are on their way now. I told them a bit about you, and they are dying to meet you." Bradley told him. Gabriel sat up.

"Right now, really?" He questioned. Bradley nodded. "God this is going to be an eventful day" he muttered to himself.

"We were also talking about you playing the base for our band, they want to hear you play when they get here. If that's alright with you" Bradley told him.

"Yeah I'm fine with that." Gabriel agreed.

"So, Gabriel, while we wait why don't you tell me a bit about yourself." He asked.

"As long as you tell me a bit about you and please call me Gabe. Only my mother calls me Gabriel." The pirate said.

"Alright, Gabe, why did you start playing the Bass?" The prince asked.

Gabe struggled. "I guess I really like music and always have had a passion to make music. But I'm not the best, since my bass is currently missing a few strings and it's pretty beat up." He

"Why didn't you say anything? I have a, like ton of string." Bradley stated. He moved over to his side table and pulled out some string. " Lemme see your bass I can fix it up for you" he said. The pirate nodded and took out his instrument. He handed it over to the prince with caution.

"Just don't like try and smash her or destroy her anymore" the shorter one said.

"Have people tried to do that before?" Bradley asked as he fixed up his bass.

Gabe nodded. "Yeah my mom.  She's an asshole and doesn't like music. She sometimes even says that Repunzel was better than me because, and I quote 'she had a quieter hobby' "

"Damn. I forget how cruel the villains can be" he responded.

"Yeah, but you get used to it after awhile."
