The next morning, the sun rises over the demon realm, casting its warm light on the land. Cordelia wakes up and reaches for Alec beside her, only to find his side of the bed empty. Panic washes over her as she notices the letter placed beside her pillow. With trembling hands, she picks it up and reads Alec's heartfelt words.
"No," she whispers, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Please, no."
As the realization of Alec's death hits Cordelia like a tidal wave, she clutches the letter he left tightly in her hand. The words on the paper blur before her tear-filled eyes, and she can't hold back her anguish any longer. Collapsing to the floor, she lets out a heart-wrenching cry that echoes throughout the palace, resonating with the pain in her soul.
The sound of her cry reaches the ears of Zeddicus, Kenrick, and the girls, who are immediately alarmed. They rush to her bedroom, their faces filled with concern. Seeing Cordelia on the floor in distress, they ask her what is wrong, but she can only shake her head as tears continue to flow.
Zeddicus notices the note clutched in her hand and gently takes it from her. As he reads the heartbreaking contents, the weight of the situation settles heavily upon them all. He somberly explains the note's contents to the other.
"Alec has given up his life for Cordelia's sake, allowing her to regain her ability to love and control her powers. He is no longer with us anymore."
The news of Alec's sacrifice leaves everyone heartbroken. They gather around Cordelia, enveloping her in a comforting embrace, knowing that no words can ease her pain. In that moment, they vow to be there for her and support her through this trying time. That night, they take turns watching over Cordelia as she sleeps, making sure she feels loved and protected. Each of them understands the magnitude of the loss Cordelia has endured and the strength it will take for her to move forward.
The news of Alec's death spreads like wildfire through the demon realm, leaving everyone in a state of mourning. Cordelia, however, is hit the hardest. Consumed by grief and guilt, she locks herself away in her room, refusing to see anyone, not even her close friends or her sisters. Her heartache is immeasurable, and she can't bear the thought of a life without Alec.
As days go by, Cordelia's despair deepens. Her room is filled with remnants of their time together - love letters, poems, and little trinkets that hold precious memories. Every night, she clutches Alec's final letter to her, reading his words over and over again, unable to let go.
One fateful night, Cordelia reaches her breaking point. The weight of her loss becomes unbearable, and she makes a desperate decision. She can't imagine living without Alec by her side, so she attempts to take her own life, hoping to join him in whatever comes next.
Meanwhile, the girls are with Kendrick and Zeddicus, discussing their concern for Cordelia. They know she is devastated, but they don't realize how deeply she is suffering. As they speak, Kendrick suddenly catches a whiff of fresh blood in the air, his senses heightened by his werewolf abilities. Without a second thought, he sprints towards Cordelia's room, the others following close behind.
Arriving at Cordelia's door, Kendrick's worst fears are confirmed when he hears her soft cries inside. With his superhuman strength, he tries to break down the door, but it won't budge. Not realizing that Cordelia secretly barricaded the door form the inside. He looks at Zeddicus, desperation in his eyes. Zeddicus, a powerful dragon, knows he needs to help. Channeling his strength, he combines his with Kendrick's, and together, they break open the door.
Inside, they find Cordelia unconscious, lying in a pool of her own blood. Fear and anguish grip them as they rush to her side. Kendrick holds her gently in his arms, trying to wake her, while Zeddicus begins tearing his clothes in strips to bandage her wounds. They help her to her feet and carry her over to lie her down on top of her bed before covering her with the blanket. The girls, Zeddicus and Kenrick take turns staying by her side, offering comfort and support. As she starts to fall into a deep sleep, they each gently remind her of the love and memories she shared with Alec, urging her to hold on to those moments as a testament to his love.
