My hands were shaking. My heart was thumping. Why was I so nervous? It's not like he was gonna ask me to marry him... Or will he?? What if he does?! Then we'll get married and live in a big mansion with our own cars and we'll have 2 kids; Luke and Noah and then they'll grow up and- ok what am I even talking about, he was probably just gonna ask me about the homework - yeah that's probably it. I trudged along the concrete floor, dragging my bag that seemed to get heavier every step I took. When I saw Charlie standing by the school gates, knots formed in my stomach. I felt the palm of my hands get sweaty and the butterflies in my stomach were doing cartwheels. It's weird how he can make me feel like this with just one look. I slowed down a little, not wanting to seem to eager. I reached the school gates and looked directly in Charlie's eyes. The eyes that I could get lost in forever.
"Hey Georgie" Charlie smiled at me. "H-hey Charlie" great, stuttering. Why do I always stutter when I talk to him. After 10 seconds I conjured up the courage to ask "So why did you want to meet me here? Not that I didn't want to meet you here I mean I like meeting up with you even though we've only done it once and I hardly know you but like-" "Hey slow down there, I met you here so I could hang out with you and get to know you" he cut me off but I was thankful because I would've went on forever. "Y-you wanna hang out with me?" I said in disbelief "Why??" I realised I came off a little rude "I don't mean to sound rude or anything" "I mean I dunno I just wanted to hang- what can a guy not hand with a girl now? Is it a crime" He chuckled and I giggled awkwardly. Why was I so awkward! "So where do you wanna go?" He asked. Frankly I didn't care where we went as long as I was with him. "I-I don't mind" A look appeared on his face. I think it was- confusion? Did I say something wrong? "Why are you so nervous Georgie?" His question caught me off guard. Was it really that obvious that I was nervous "Oh um I don't really know I guess" He gave me a suspicious look before smiling again. "Okay! I know a place we can go"
We starting walking down the cobblestone path and I think I knew where he was taking me. He was talking me to the milkshake place a couple of roads away. I'd never been there before but I heard that the milkshakes were good. *Buzz Buzz* my phone vibrated in my pocket and I quickly whipped it out. It was a text message from Ryan.
'Get your butt home, your friend Blue's here and we have visitors coming'
"Oh my god seriously?!" I never realised I said that out loud.. Oops "What's wrong?" Charlie asked, with genuine concern and innocence written all over his face. He was so damn cute!! It was unreal. "I'm so sorry I have to go" I could see the disappointment in his face and it was heart breaking "I'll speak to you tomorrow right?" His face lit up again when I said this "Definatly!" He smiled his award winning smile and I ran home. What visitors could be coming? I wasn't aware of anyone coming to visit. I reached my road and didn't see any new cars parked in front of my house. Whoever it was must've come walking? I was so confused

I rang the doorbell and Ryan opened the door. "It's about time" he hissed. What was up with him?? I stepped inside and walked into the living room, expecting random people to be sitting there but all I saw was Blue siting on the couch. "Oh hey, how did it go with Charlie?" He asked but I brushed off his question "Where are the visitors?!" I yelled at Ryan, clearly annoyed" he grabbed me and took me into the kitchen. "There are no visitors" I nearly punched him "WHAT?! You made me ditch my crush for nothing?!!" "Not for nothing!" He explained "It's just that I offered to give Blue a ride home but he said he wanted to come to our house so he could hang with you later so he was here" he said, thinking that he had a valid reason. "And!!? He's Blue he's not gonna murder you!" "I know I guess I just... Never mind" I was so annoyed I could kill someone. "No. Not never mind! Tell me now that you've ruined my day" "Well I er.." He stared "I just felt a bit weird being left alone with Blue.. " He looked at the floor "Weird?" What was he talking about? Blue was the easiest person to be around "Yeah weird" "Okay..." I decided to let it go. I was too focused on the little walk I just had. I walked into the living room and sat down and I noticed Zac my little brother had now joined us and was talking to Blue. I looked around and realised my mum wasn't here "Hey Zac where's mum?" "She's gone shopping". Great alone with these guys for a couple hours. What could possibly go wrong.
