Chapter 10

"Hi! Can I get 2 cones of strawberry and one small cup of vanilla please?" Louis said I loved strawberry ice cream and that it was our go-to ice cream. So he said he'd go get us some. 
"Thank you!" He came back and gave me my cone and put the little cup in Emma's stroller tray. 
"C'mon taste it taste it!" Louis waited until I took a few licks.
"This is good." I smiled and continued licking.
"Yes." He sat down next to me on the bench and ate his.
We were outside by a park looking around. We went to a mall earlier and Louis showed me all his favourite stores and my favourite stores. 

"Emma." I giggled seeing her whole face filled with ice cream. She giggled looking at me and shoved her ice cream-covered fist into her mouth. 
"She always-Uncle Kiri!" Louis yelled and ran off making my heart jump.
"Hey, buddy!" I saw Katsuki's friend walking towards us in his uniform along with some other officers I didn't recognize.
"Hey, Marinette! Emmy!" He kissed Emma's head. 
"What are you guys doing here?"
"We went out to hang out and now we are eating ice cream! Is Papa around?"
"Sorry little dude. He's at the office like usual. How are you doing Marinette?" He asked me with kind eyes.
"Fine, thank you," I whispered wiping Emma's face with a napkin.

"Who's the chick?"
"She is looking fine as hell."
"Is she the new nanny or something? Never thought the captain would get a hot nanny."
"Hey! She's my mom!" Louis yelled out.
"Guys, she's Captain's wife. Stop being disrespectful."
"Wife? Since when?"
"Just...shut up man. Sorry about that Marinette." I shrugged not looking up. 
"Get lost. You guys made my mom upset. Idiots!" I stared wide eyes at Louis seeing him mad. 
"L-Louis-"
"Whatever kid. We're leaving."
"I'm telling my dad about this!"
"I am so sorry about them, they are kind of the jerks and stuff. Don't listen to them ok, Marinette? I got to go for patrol. I'll see you guys soon. Later." He ran off.
"Those jerks!" Louis kicked the bench. 
"It's alright, Louis." I gently patted his back. 
"It's ok, Mama. Ignore them. You're my Mama." He hugged me from around my neck making me giggle. 
"Mama! Up!" I smiled and lifted Emma out of the stroller making her smile and lay her head on my shoulder. 

Katsuki's POV:

"No way!" Lola screeched making me shake my head.
"Yes now fucking calm down."
"I'm getting promoted!?"
"Yes. You solved a case, as a beginner, by yourself by listening to your guts. You saved my wife." I muttered with a smile.
"And I'm glad I did. But you don't need to-"
"Yes, I will. I already did. You're the leader of Group C. These are your members." I gave her the paper.
"Thanks, Bossman." She chirped making me sigh.
"And-"
"Papa!" The door slammed open and I would have shouted if I hadn't heard my kid's noise. 
"Hey, buddy." I smiled and was shocked to see Blueberry here too.

She was anxious, looking around and fidgety. She was holding a sleeping Emma in her arms.
"Oh em gee! You must be the wife! I'm so happy to see you again! Remember me? Lola?" Lola stood up excitedly in front of Marinette making her take a step back and widen her eyes. 
"Lo-"
"You are so pretty after getting rid of all that dirt! Not that you weren't pretty before but-Oh em gee! Is this your baby? She's adorable!" Marinette took another step back and looked at Louis. Not me...Louis....
"Lola step the fuck away. Give my wife fucking space." 
"Oops sorry captain. Sorry, Marinette." She waved nervously.
"I'll leave now. Thank you again, Cap. Bye Marinette." Once she left and the door closed I sighed.
"Who was that?" Louis asked. 
"A recruit. She's the one who found your mom. Hey Love. Should I take Emma out of your hands? Want a chair? Sit sit." I stood up holding her elbows gently.
"It's ok. She...energetic. But she won't hurt you." I gently eased her down onto the chair and rubbed my thumb across her cheek.
"How was your day?" I asked gently while gazing at her and Emma's sleeping face.
"It-It was good. We had ice cream!" She smiled big with a blush making me chuckle.
"That's good, love. Did you have fun? Any problems?" I was bent on one knee so I could look her in the eyes.
"Yes, I had f-fun. No trouble." She averted her eyes letting me know she was lying.
"Hm? No trouble at all?"
"No....No trouble..."
"Mama...tell Papa the truth," Louis said crossing his arms.
 "What truth? What happened? Tell me now." I glared before calming down.
"You can trust me. I'll help you, ok, love?" I whispered.
"I...."
"Your officers saw us outside with Uncle Kiri. They started disrespecting Mama. Saying she was a nanny and that they couldn't believe she was your wife. Saying how she was very pretty and all those 18+ stuff."
"Who? Shittyhair!" I yelled out standing up and pacing.
"Those fucking jerks."
"Yea? Oh hey, Marinette." Kirishima waved. 
"Hi," Marinette whispered.
"Who the fuck was with you and who fucking disrespected my wife?"
"Just a few guys man. I sorted them out already. But they were Jeremy, Kagami, Daichi and Derek."
"Tell them to come to my office in 5 minutes."
"Yes sir."

"I'm going to go home soon do you guys want to wait for me and I can take you guys?"
"Sure," Louis replied playing on my phone.
"Love?" Marinette's head popped up with a blush making me chuckle.
"Yes." She whispered. 
"Good. Here, take my keys and go sit in the car." I gave the keys to Louis and watched them leave. 


"You called for us?"
"Right...let me deal with you 4 idiots." I cracked my knuckles with a smirk.
