"I saw all of that, girl." I yelped and looked behind to see Celine. "That was so cute! He's totally into you." "Really?" "Obviously. You don't ever see a woman with Shindo so he's totally into you!" I blushed against seeing him walk out the back tying his apron and looking around. When we met eyes, he winked and went to the cashier. "Ugh, you guys are making me jealous." "Celine." I giggled and went back to work.
"Alright, I'm out. Later guys." "Bye!" I called out waving at Celine who was leaving. Today, Shindo and I are closing up the cafe. "Hey, I finished the bathrooms." "I'm finishing up the kitchen and I can wipe the tables." "I'll get started on those." He said and took a rag and a bottle of soap. I watched him walk off and continue cleaning the kitchen.
"Ok, I'm done with the kitchen. I'll help out here now." I said. "Sure. I'm almost done." I finished wiping down the rest of the tables and Shindo flipped the chairs onto them. "Awesome, all done?" "Yep." I smiled and washed my hands. "So any plans for tonight?" "Nothing much. Louis is making dinner tonight since he wanted to. And then we might watch a movie since it's the weekend tomorrow." "That's good. Um...Mari, I....this is a weird question...but like...are you and Bakugou...a..." "A couple?" "...Yea. Because I'm sure Louis and Emma are your kids but...you both don't do much coupling..y'know? Is that weird? I'm so sorry!" "No no, it's ok. And sure I don't remember anything and I was really scared coming back...but Katsuki helped me a lot." I mumbled while staring down at my hands thinking about him. "He sounds like a great guy." Shindo smiled gently. "He is," I muttered seeing his smile slowly fade away. "I...I'll go grab my stuff," I mumbled and turned to walk away. "Go out with me!" "What?" "Go out with me. Please. I'll treat you right and take care of you. I'll do anything. Please." "...Yes," I whispered seeing his smile turn wider and his eyes brighter. "Really? Fuck yes." He jumped around. I giggled seeing him so happy. "Thank fuck, I thought you would say no." He hugged me suddenly making me laugh. "You're so wonderful." He mumbled while rubbing my cheek gently and gazing into my eyes making my whole face turn bright pink.
"Am I interrupting?" "Ah!" I yelped and jumped away from Shindo, looking to the entrance to see Katsuki standing there staring at us. "Oh hey, Katsuki. Sorry, I'll go grab my stuff." I ran to the back leaving the two men alone.
Katsuki's POV:
I watched Marinette walk to the back to get her stuff. Today I had a day off so I kept Emma with me. I looked to the side to see the guy she was just hugging. "Hey." "Oh..hey Bakugou." He muttered and awkwardly looked around. "Take care of her." "Hm?" He looked at me. "Take care of her. I won't stop taking care of her but now you have to. If you ever make her cry, upset, or uncomfortable...it'll be over. No 2nd chances or whatever." "I won't ever hurt her." "You better not." "I'm back!" She came out without her apron while she ran her hand through her hair. "Ready to go home?" "Yep!" "I'll give you a few minutes," I said and walked out seeing her and Shindo talking through the glass windows. I clenched my fist seeing him hugging her and kissing her cheek. Calm down...I told her it was ok.
"Oh my god, Louis! This smells amazing!" "Thanks, Mama." I watched Marinette play with Emma and check up on Louis in the kitchen. I told her it was ok. I told her it was ok. I told her it was ok.
