Chapter 18

"I missed you so much."

"I needed you."

"I had to do it."

"Don't be a bad girl now."

"Eat all your food or else!"

"You are such a brat!"

"Hah!?" I sat up in my bed and panted.
I woke up just before I could get slapped. I panted and rubbed my eyes feeling them sting with tears. 
"What happened!?" I jerked and screamed.
"Shh shh, what happened?" I opened my eyes to see Katsuki in front of me with a gun.
"Wh-what's with the gun?" I asked with a stutter.
"I heard a noise. Fuck my bad." He put the gun down on my dresser.  
"Are you ok?" He asked gently.
"Just a nightmare." I sniffled.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"It was just....Adrien. Just some stuff he would do to me." I shrugged.
"Oh, baby." He came and hugged me to his chest while running his hand through my hair making me sniffle and cry lightly. 
"Sh, it's ok. Everything's ok. I'm here. No matter what." I sighed and hugged him tighter.
"Can you stay here with me, please?"
"I....fine." He sighed and lay down with me.
I held onto his hand and slowly fell asleep.

Katsuki's POV:

Today was Marinette's day off so I took Louis in the car to drop him off at school.
"Louis?"
"Yes, Papa?" He asked while looking out the window.
"Ok listen. You need to listen."
"Ok....?"
"The man who kidnapped your mother....he is Adrien Agreste."
"....ok?"
"You may not remember him but he was your birth father."
"What? He kidnapped Mama?"
"He's an obsessed ex." I shrugged.
"Oh...but he's in prison now. Why are you telling me?"
"He escaped....about 3 weeks ago. And I just found out recently."
"What? How?"
"I have no fucking clue. But I got someone to watch over your mom at work. But you...He would come after you since you are his biological son."
"He would?"
"But don't worry. Just...don't be alone. He has blonde hair and green eyes. He might be in disguise though, so call me if you ever feel uncomfortable or see someone like him. Got it?"

"......" I looked at him to see him looking down at his lap with a frown.
"What's wrong?" I asked him gently.
"Why....why did he leave me and Mama? I-I'm happy with and I love you, I just...I need to know. Was I not what he wanted? Did he want a daughter or something? Was I bad-"
"Shut up!" I pulled over and rested my head against the steering wheel feeling angry. 
I was angry that Adrien Agreste could make my family feel and think like this. 
"Listen up, you... It ain't on you. That bastard couldn't sort his priorities between family and ego. Selfish to the core, a damn monster. He couldn't stand seeing us move forward, so he slithered back to snatch it away. That's the essence of the coward he is. You're the damn epitome of a son, the best anyone could wish for. Your mom and I have nothing but love for you. You're respectful, tough as nails, always looking out. People kill to have a son like you. And hell, I'm damn proud, always have been. Seen you grow from day one, and it's been one hell of a journey."
"....."
"What? Don't fucking cry! Louis!"
"I love you so much." He cried making me scoff.
"I love you too, kid," I grumbled ruffling his hair.
"Now fix yourself. We're almost there. You don't want to worry Samantha now do you?" He perked up and cleaned his face and hair. 
I watched him from the side of my eyes and felt happy. That's my son. My fucking son, Agreste. Don't even try it.

"Sir, we haven't gotten a trace of Agreste-"
"What the fuck do you mean? Where could he have gone?"
"Well, the fact that he had a whole three weeks to bolt speaks volumes, doesn't it?"
"Are you having an attitude with me? I don't fucking think so. Go do your job. Call in Lola. Now."
"Yes sir." I sighed and looked at the camera I had to set up in my house. I needed to make sure she was safe. 
It looks like Emma was sleeping on her chest while Marinette was on a call, probably Shindo. 
I shook my head and clenched my eyes shut.

"You asked to see me, sir?" Lola entered, sitting on the chair in front of me.
"I need you to use your tracking skills and find Adrien Agreste. You can do it solo or take your team with you. These fucking idiots aren't getting anywhere. I need him found and now."
"Yes sir." She saluted and took the file, with his information in it, and left.
