Chapter 24

Phaya POV

It's been a week since Phaya started his preliminary training, and he won't lie about how difficult his everyday life was. He remembers that he couldn't even move his muscles due to pain from the first to the third day of his training. Luckily, it doesn't happen anymore since his body has gotten used to the training.

Every day was a challenge. Phaya can't even rest his mind since all the missions are given randomly, so he doesn't know when they will happen, like what happened on their second day of training. From morning exercises to individual missions and even some team missions, Phaya doesn't even have time to breathe.

Because of his busy schedule, he didn't even have time to rest and update his grandma, and he didn't even have time to think about the young man he had been missing because every time they finished their training, he would directly shower and sleep so he would have energy for the next training.

Luckily, this time they are given two days off, which for him is enough to rest his body. Phaya finally has time to use his phone after 5 days of not using it, and since he has enough time to rest, he decides to go home to his condo so he can rest comfortably and wash his clothes.

Phaya walked to their lockers to get and pack his things after tidying his beds. He gets all his clothes that he will take and leaves the other things he hasn't used. That's right, Phaya thought that they wouldn't be allowed to go home, so he took lots of clothes since he didn't want to regret anything if he didn't have anything to wear. Once done, he heard someone calling his name.

"Hey! Phaya!! "

Phaya looked at his back, and there he saw Khem, who was one of the participants and became his close friend. Khem was a handsome man. He is also fun and humorous, so Phaya is quite comfortable with him. Although he was known as a silent man who doesn't trust easily, he doesn't know why, but he became friends with Khem easily.

"Yah! Are you going home? "He heard his friend say once he reached him.

"Yeah. I want to have a rest and clean my room."

"How about you? Are you going too? ," he added once he saw his friend carrying a bag like him.

"Yeah, my baby is missing me, so I have to go home," Khem said with a playful smile.

"Yeah, whatever," Phaya said.

"Yah!! What kind of reaction is that? "Khem said when he saw his friend's reaction.

"Nothing," Phaya replied.

"What nothing?! I think you despise me, mah friend," Khem said, acting mad, but honestly, Phaya could see the teasing in his eyes and the smirk on his friend.

"I can't blame you for despising and being jealous of me since I had my baby while you were a sing-" His friend didn't finish his words since he hit his friend's head to stop him before turning away from him.

"Yah!! Phaya!! What the heck is that hit for? "

Phaya heard his friend shouting at him on his back while he walked outside the locker, completely ignoring him. Honestly speaking, Phaya gets enough of Khem talking about his love life and how his "baby" is missing him and wants to see him. He feels like his friend is just bragging about his lover missing him, but the truth is, Khem is the lovesick one. But of course, Phaya won't admit that he was jealous and that he wanted to see Tharn.

He's been missing him and thinking about him, especially when he read the man's reply to his text message. He remembered how ecstatic he felt at that time once he read it.
