What’s your favorite season? Most people say summer or spring, right, but me personally, I like winter, I always have, really. Simply because with winter, you can always just add more layers. In summer, you can’t do much to get cold, and the air conditioner can only do so much.

However, today was supposed to be warm, what a load of bullshit, It’s frigid and cold. I live far out in the woods, and I’d often take walks through paths that had signs from previous owners, but today, I felt adventurous.

I took a shortcut, which led me to an open field, having stepped further in I had picked up on the smell of fire, it was only when I got closer that I saw the fire, there emerging from the flames was a man, was he crying… yes, he was sobbing.

The flames had dimmed but still burned around and on him as if they were apart of him, only when I’d inspected him further did I realize this man wasn’t human, wings protruded out of his back like an angel except they weren’t pristine white they were vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow, his lower half was covered in the same colored feathers all the way down towards his thighs were bird legs instead of human ones, he had a long feathered tail aswell.

He was quite handsome, his hair was dark brown, his skin tone was an olive tan-ish color, and his eyes were a hazel brown with hints of green. His hair is short, and there's a strand sticking out that curls up on the right side of his head. I should have run away, I should have, but something pulled me towards him. My steps remained silent till I accidentally stepped on a twig, startling him. His head turned towards me, and that's when I knew it. I knew that I was in love with this man who I didn’t know would change my life. His tears had stopped, and he stood up with his right arm reaching out towards me, I walked closer and reached out towards him. 

???: “Are you like the other bastards? Come to laugh at my misery, like all the other Ragazzas…
They all dislike me, always preferring Antonio over me… I…I can be a ladies man… I can… who am I kidding I can’t, I can’t control my form like the others can, not even as good as my brother Feliciano…”

Y/N: “I don’t fully understand the situation or the problem, but you seem cool to me, My name’s Y/N L/N, what’s yours…?!”

???: “It’s Lovino Vargas, but most call me Romano, I uh I’m sorry someone as kind as you had to see me in such a state…”

Y/N: “It’s okay to be sad, there’s no shame in that, okay, do you have a place to stay? My house isn’t exactly fireproof.”

Lovino: “Speaking of home, uh no… I ran away, I know your place isn’t fireproof, but I uh, is it okay if I make a home near yours. I haven't had social interaction in a while, and you’re just so nice and lovely. I ah sorry… I’m ranting now…”

Y/N: “Sure, if you want I’ve got a separate garage near my house that you can turn into your house if you want it's semi close to my house, so if you need anything I’ll be a knock away.”
Lovino: “Really…?!!! That’s so kind of you. Thank you so much, Y/n…!!!”

Time skip     -

It's been two weeks since we refurbished the garage, It already had a heating system and I had brought down an old mattress and some fireproof blankets and pillows with fireproof pillow cases as we finished making his nest. Lovino sat down, he looked up at me and smiled, “Thank you for letting me stay with you and accommodating me Y/n, I don't know were I'd be if I hadn't found you.”

Y/n: “It’s okay Lovi, I get It, you can stay here as long as you need to.”

Lovino: “You mean it… you'll seriously Let me stay with you, but ragazza I'm… I'll just be a burden… I- I can't do that to you, I promise as long as I'm here I'll help out and take care of you. No, I uh never mind that ragazza I don't know what I'm talking about, how can I take care of you when I can barely take care of myself I'm an Idiota.”

Y/N: “No, that's not true, you're not an idiot Lovino, don't say that okay.”

Lovino: “But it's true, I am an idiot, an idiot in love ragazza…!!!”

Y/n: “Lovino what…" What are you saying…?!!”

Lovino: “Y/n, while we've only known each other for two weeks in that short amount of time I've grown deeply in love with you, absolutely infatuated, and I've come to the decision that I want to court you properly…!!!”

Y/N: “Romano… Lovi, hehehaha, of course you dork, I'll gladly be your girlfriend idiot…!”

Lovino: “H-Hey, I thought you didn't want me to call myself an idiot so what gives….!”

Y/N: “Exactly, you're my idiot, it's different when I call you an idiot though, especially since I mean it with love…”

Lovino: “You're a dumb ass you know that…" Right?”

Y/N: “Mhm, but I'm your dumb ass now right…?!”

Lovino: “Yeah you are stupid ragazza, dammit okay fine you win.”

Y/n: “...Hey Romano…”

Lovino: “Yeah…?”

Y/N: “I love you too!”
