TW: little itty bitty smut at the end

"Are you crazy?!" The blonde shouted at you. Dazed and confused you just looked down at your feet. Your adrenaline was wearing off and the pain in your left cheekbone started to ache. The camera in your hands showed a blurry image of the two of you kissing, you gave a light smile, it looked pretty cute you thought.

"My life is over, that little freak is going to tell Shane what happened and then the whole school will know that I'm-" She couldn't finish her sentence. Regina couldn't even come to terms with what she was.

"There's no proof, Regina. You'll be alright." Your voice was cold. You slid your hood back to your neck and leaned back in the seat. You were exhausted.

"You aren't God, Y/N, you don't know what will happen!" Regina did a double take of your face and the road. Her goddess-shaped face dropped. "Did you get punched?" Her voice was as loud as a breath.

Avoiding the question, you looked out the window and admired the passing nature. Your actions were slowly sinking into Regina. "Wh-How-Why would you take a punch for me?" The blonde stammered as her brain spun for an answer.

"Answer me, Y/N!"

"Because I like you! I always have and today has been the best day of my life because the girl I've been delusional enough to like for the past 5 years finally acknowledged my existence!" Your anger released all your deepest secrets. Tears welled up in your eyes and Regina kept glancing between you and the road.

Silence.

"Turn into this house here." You demanded.

Regina did as she was told and parked her car at a random house. "Where are we?"

"My house." You felt numb and Regina could hear it in your voice as you spoke. Getting out of the car, you walked up to the front door. Pulling up your hood to conceal your face, you both walked in.

"Y/N?!" Your mother's voice rang across the house and you tried booking it to your room. "Y/N where have you been, I've been worried sick." You stopped halfway up the stairs turning your right side of your face to your mom.

"Mom, I'm fine, just went out for a bit. This is Regina."

Regina felt nervous, she hated meeting parents. All Regina could do was mutter a hello and wave.

"Nice to meet you lovey. You're very beautiful." Your mom said to the tall blonde.

"Oh, thank you, ma'am." Regina looked up at Y/N for assistance.

"Alright, we'll be in my room. Love you." You practically bolted up the stairs before you could even let your mom speak again.

Walking into your room first, you heard Regina shut the door and walk up to you. You placed the camera down on your desk. You didn't dare look at the blonde, having your back to her. All of the pain you have bottled up got the best of you as you knelt on the floor and sobbed.

Regina has never dealt with people crying before so she just stood there, looking at you with a sad puppy face. But something wasn't right, Regina thought. She was feeling a sense of sympathy for you as you cried, which made her heart ache. Regina's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as many new emotions swarmed within her.

She knelt behind you and wrapped her arms around your whole body.

"I'm here. You're safe, let it all out baby." The blonde's lips skimmed your ear as she whispered delicately, holding you close. More tears kept flowing down and you leaned into Regina, resting your head on her shoulder.

"I have a feeling..." You choked out, "That this will be...our only memory of one another." Your eyes closed as your body seized with sadness, not even looking at Regina you could tell she agreed with the statement.

"The day isn't over yet."

You lifted your body off the blonde and stared directly at her with confusion. She lifted her hand, softly brushing her fingers across your black eye that had formed.

"So...you've had a crush on me for 5 years?" The blonde asked.

You couldn't help but chuckle. It sounds delusional when you hear it out loud. "How could I not? Look at you."

"But I've been so mean to you all these years, how could you like someone like me?" Regina looked down at the floor, regretting being so cruel.

You sniffed, positioning yourself to tell Regina a story. "In 7th Grade, Molly Jenkins and her posse tricked me into going inside the boy's locker room during gym class. No one had been in there, thank god but they locked me in and kept yelling, 'If you want to dress like a boy then you can change with the boys.' Before I knew it I heard a gasp and the door opened, revealing my guardian angel...you. Since that day I've always admired you."

"I barely remember that," Regina says.

"My mom used to tell me that bullies are just people who are broken inside."

"So, you think I'm broken?" The blonde laughed.

"No, no, well maybe. But when she told me that I thought of you and felt bad. I don't know what you've been through but I've always wanted to be your guardian angel and return the favor." You stammered.

"Well, consider it returned, you were my guardian angel today. Thank you for fixing my car, helping me with an existential crisis, and taking a punch for me."

"Yeah, that punch really hurt." You dramatically say. "Maybe a few kisses would make me feel better."

"Oh yeah?" Regina leaned in, cupping the sides of your face.

You met Regina's soft lips halfway and passionately kissed. Smiles rose on both your faces. The blonde pressed light kisses on your whole face, being extra careful of your black eye. You grabbed a chunk of her soft hair and brought her lips back to yours. Sliding your tongue in you heard the girl moan quietly.

As you both rise to your feet, the kiss deepens. The world around you seems to blur as you lose yourselves in the moment, the connection between you strengthening with each passing second. With a gentle touch, you guide Regina toward your navy blue bed. Her knees hit the edge and her body falls on top of the comfy bed.

You grinned at the sight of Regina George, the Queen Bee, the most popular girl in school, on your bed. With a playful glint in your eyes, you approach her, savoring the power dynamic shifting between you. Regina's surrender fuels your confidence, igniting a raw spark within you as you lean in closer, the air between you charged with anticipation.
