Regina hadn't stopped texting you after what happened last night. She felt incredibly bad and it showed through her texts.

Regina:

Y/N I'm so sorry, I didn't mean anything I said.

Please text me back.

I shouldn't have put all my anger on you.

I messed up.

You ignored her the whole night and most of the day at school. Deep down you knew the blonde didn't truly mean what she said but it still stung like a bee to your heart and you needed space to figure things out between the two of you. You needed to focus on the soccer game tomorrow, that was more important than anything, you needed to make state.

Whitney had been by your side ever since you came out of the dressing room crying, she comforted you by sleeping over and staying by your side at school. You sat next to each other with some soccer teammates a few tables down from where The Plastics usually sat. You were lucky enough to not see The Queen Bee all day but to your demise, you heard the cafeteria go silent at the sight of her walking down the hall.

Your eyebrows furrowed when you noticed Regina's appearance, she was wearing sweatpants and comfy clothes, definitely not what she would wear on a typical Friday.

Gretchen's voice could be heard from across the room, "I'm sorry, Regina. You can't sit with us. You're wearing sweatpants, it's Friday."

You heard the girls debate back in forth for a while until you heard Regina say in a muttered tone, "These sweatpants are all that fit me right now."

You sighed, realizing the girl had been gradually putting on weight during the course of your relationship. Yet, you refrained from mentioning it, you thought it was just normal puberty stuff, and it didn't make her any less beautiful.

Cady had now begun to speak for the group which made you confused, you noticed she had been changing her style and started to hang around The Plastics more often but you never pegged her to become the leader. Regina rarely spoke about Cady to you and whenever they were together Regina seemed like she never wanted to be around the redhead.

Cady assertively crossed her legs, "I'm sorry, Regina. Rules are rules." She said coldly.

You felt your blood boil at how negatively they were treating Regina but the memory of the blonde yelling at you last night swiped through your mind and you were stuck with mixed feelings.

"Take a picture losers, it'll last longer." Regina spat out but her words backfired because everyone obeyed her orders, flashing cameras and whispers bounced off the walls.

Her blue eyes locked with yours as she walked by you, Whitney grabbed your hand so you wouldn't follow Regina out the door. Her eyes had the same desperation as last night when she fell but you could sense a bit of anger in them as well. You felt defeated and looked away with a frown, causing the blonde to get tears in her eyes, feeling isolated from the world around her. She had nobody and her reputation was gone.

Regina George wasn't seen after lunch and you debated whether or not to text the blonde but Whitney kept denying your efforts to the point she even took your phone.

You bit at your nails as you sat on the bench of the soccer field. It was the game that would qualify your team for the State Championship and you're season would run longer after Winter Break. It was a cold night since it was December but your blood ran warm with all the anxiety pumping through your body.
