A month passed like a flash of lightning, and just like that man said, my dojo was scheduled to be demolished. I managed to rent a small apartment and move all my important things into it. However, I was mad because I was given a time limit to finish things. I went to the realtor who was in charge of my dojo's property and demanded a reason why the contract we had was broken.

I got laughed at and told there was no contract and to get lost. So I went to the police about the broken contract. I met with Detective Naomasa who took the case as he had nothing to do lately. When he heard my story about the realtor, he had his suspicions and asked for me to come back in three days. I gave him my address, where I worked, and my cell number just in case he found something.

The three days passed by slowly. I woke up, ate breakfast, did my katas, and headed off for school then my jobs. By the time three days were over, I hadn't gotten a call or anything.  So I did what the detective asked and came back. When I asked for him, I was directed to his office.

Getting there, I overheard screaming and yelling. I waited for the moment that the loudness to subside before knocking. What opened the door wasn't what I was suspecting. I mean, who would expect a nearly seven-foot-tall man with a gorilla head to open the door?

What followed next, was a brief description of why I was there and who for. Once I explained that I talked to Detective Naomasa a few days ago, I was let right in and the gorilla man left right after. And boy, was it a sight to see.

There stood the detective with a slight glare on his face and in front of him stood a man with a clean suit and a Beagal head for a head. They looked like they'd been arguing for a while if the looks on their faces were anything to go by. And as soon as they saw me, they looked like they had seen a ghost.

.

"Good afternoon," I greeted with a slight bow, "I'm here to ask about the case I opened about my realtor."

"Ah, yes," The detective said as he shook off his surprise. "Since we're all new here, let's start with introductions." He stated, "I'm Naomasa Tsukauchi."

"And I'm Kenji Tsuragamae," The dog man spoke. "The chief of this police station."

"Akashi Suraimu," I said.

"Now then," The Detective said, "Mr. Suraimu, I was just about to call you about your case."

"Please call me Akasahi," I spoke with an even tone though I could tell that he was upset.

"Well then, Akashi," The chief of police started as his eyes narrowed. "The case with your realtor was surprising, to say the least."

"How so?" I asked, somewhat nervous.

"Well, for starters they have been the source of some nasty rumors." The Detective started.

"How bad are they?" I asked with slight curiosity.

"They've been, for lack of a better word, engaging in criminal activity legally," The chief of police spoke with a growl.

.

What we spoke about next turned my life around and not in a good way. The realtor I was working with was part of a large pyramid scheme that ripped off students who were looking to get away from their parents. Add on to the fact that they were after the land the dojo sat on I was prime for the tricking. They made it seem like I could get the property easily in a year but they already had it under contract to be destroyed. They just managed to get me to believe I could get it back.

Needless to say, I was pissed and my hair reflected that.

What came next, well, I'm just glad I have a good grasp on my emotions.
