"Sir, my sincerest apologies for disturbing you, but I'm afraid something dreadful has happened." Said Arthur. "What has happened? Asked Kerian. "Part of our squad was ambushed this morning, my Lord." What? By who?" Asked Kerian. "There is no proof to suggest it, but I suspect that it's the Grimrose clan." Said Arthur. " I feared that." Said Kerian. "What do you suppose I should do Arthur?" Said Kerian. "Without my father, I'm not sure what to do anymore." "Kerian," said Arthur. This got his attention. Arthur rarely called Kerian by his first name. "I know you feel lost without your father, but I know you shall make a great ruler, just like he was." Arthur was Kerians father's most trusted advisor, and rightfully so. Arthur was one of the wisest men Kerian had ever met. As soon as Kerian's father passed away, their neighboring kingdom began attacking Azurethra, and now Kerian was in over his head. While his father had taught him many things, including how to be a great military leader, but not how to defend from an entire ruthless kingdom. "Kerian?" Said Arthur, Breaking Kerian from his thoughts. "I know that you can win this war, this enemy may be ruthless, but you are a strong leader, with a good heart. You are the future of Azurethra." "I don't know what I would do without you by my side, Arthur." Said Kerian. "Remember, Your Majesty, keep your head up, and remain strong, and our kingdom shall prevail, I'm sure of it.
