---Lexi's P.O.V---
The next week I went back to school. It was normal. Except, Nathan always came by me. Weird. I didn't see Ashton much since his locker is down hall B. In science I got assigned to do a project with Nathan so after school I text him.
"Hey, I want to start early on the DNA project! Can you come over to work on it?"
He instantly texted back yes and was over within 5 minutes.
"Hey did you bring foam balls?"
Hey smiled and nodded.
We worked on the project for about 3 1/2 hours. Then we just started to sit and talk.
"So how's everything with Ashton?" He asked.
I give him a stern look. "Nathan."
"Don't worry. I'm just making small talk."
I sigh "we're great."
We talked all night. We laughed all night. It was amazing! It was 11 and he headed home.
"Nathan, thanks for a fun night." I smile.
He smiles back and walks to his car.
The next morning I got 8 messages from the guys.
"ASHTON IS COMING BE CAREFUL!" From all of them.
What's up with them?
I hear ash walking up my porch, so I open the door and open my arms for a hug. He just passes by.
"Okay? Hey ash." I say with a weak smile. I was faking. I was actually pretty scared.
He looks at me with slight disappointment.
"Why?" He asks. "Why?"
"W-why what? I stutter with complete confusion.
"That little date with Nathan?! Yeah, I heard about that!" His voice grew louder.
"D-date? Ash, we were working on the DNA project." I wanted to cry at the moment.
"HE WAS HERE UNTILL 11!" His voice got even louder.
I felt tears build in my eyes. I can see he saw it too. He looked at me and put his hands to his face.
"Lexi I-I'm so so s-sorry! I'm a h-horrible boyfriend! Please!" He cried.
I took his hand.
"I love you ash. I'd never cheat or lie to you. I love you so much."
He smiled and kissed me. He looked down.
"I love you too Lexi."
---karlee's P.O.V---
Nathan. Lexi. Lexi Nathan.
There's something up. For a week now they've been "working on a project." I've never seen them work. But something could be up.
"It's Karlee. Meet me at courtyard at 5."
"Uh. Okay?" They quietly reply.
It's 6. Where are they. I wait another 20 minutes when they finally show up.
"Lexi. She's my best friend. Something's up with her. I'm going to figure it out." I intimidate.
They just look at me.
"Will you help me or not!?" I grew louder.
"With what!! There's nothing wrong." They reply.
"Oh my god. Nathan. She likes you!"
