Chapter 39 Way Back

I woke up and saw that I was hugging the plushie that I won. I saw Kuya eating breakfast. He saw me and greeted me. "Good morning Cupcake" He greeted. "Good morning to Kuya" I said and take a seat. I look at the breakfast and it was my favorite noodles. Lucky me. "Yay my favorite!" I said while my brother chuckles. "You always act like a kid everytime you eat something delicious" He said as I was slurping on the noodles. "I can't eat noodles all the time so I get excited" I said and continued to eat.

I then noticed that Kuya was already on his phone. "I thought you said, no phones while eating" I said. "Oh this is just important" He said. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah it's about my members" He said. I can clearly see that it's not his members since he is laughing and chuckling.

I finished eating break fast and took a bath. Before I got in the bathroom I asked my brother a question. "Kuya! Have you taken a bath?" I asked. "Yes!" He said. I got in the bathroom and it was...A shower...shît... I'm not used to take a bath using showers since I'm use to the Filipino style, using a tabo or in the tub like in our dorm. I put my towel on the corner and started to take a bath. At first I have trouble picking of which is that. I couldn't find for the warm water. I then turn the left one and it was a mistake. It was cold water. I emidiently turned it off and I was freezing. I turned off the other one which is warm water and it was good.

After I took a bath, I brush my teeth in the sink. After that. I go to the bedroom to change my clothes.

After I change my clothes, I step out of the room and saw my Kuya on his phone again. I look at the time and it was 6:34 meaning it's time for us to go. I then heard some screaming outside. I go to the window and saw the others waiting for us. "Kuya it's time to go!" I said. "Oh! Yes! Let's go" He said and out his phone on his pocket.

We carried our bags and returned the key to counter. We got outside and saw the van. They were already in. Me and kuya put our bags in the trunk and hop on the van. Again, Kuya was on his phone. "So? How was the date~" Greg asked. "First of all it's A hang-out Greg" Kuya said. "Yeah I know" He said. Bela then saw Kuya's phone and was chuckling. "Looks like we have two persons who is in-love~" Bela said and my Kuya's turned red. "No! We will never be in-love!" Arti said. "Yeah, I'm not gonna be in-love" Greg said. "Kuya I know you guys have trust issues but falling in-love is normal" I said. "See even your little sister knows" Bela said. "Whatever you said, you will never get us to fall in-love. "Oh really~" Una said. "Yeah and why are you smirking like that Una?" Arti asked. "Well...NK do the test and she passed. 97 over 100" Una said. "so?" Arti asked. "So...SHE POSTED THAT SHE IS NOW A COLLEGE STUDENT!" Bela said. "WHAT?! SHE TOOK THE TEST!" Arti asked. "Yup. She is going to Mandrailes College" Kaz said. "Wait...Comrade isn't that your college school?" Rus said. "Yeah..." Arti said. "Yeeeeeeeesssssss!!!" Una said and Una, Kaz and Bela started to make fan noises. "Shut up. It doesn't look like I care" Arti said. "Looks like we have another plan~" Bela said.

Minutes later. I decided to hugging my plushie. "Hey Berry!" I said and shock everyone. "B-berry?" Ger asked. "Yeah Berry" I said. "Who is berry?" Kaz asked. "Berry is Ruski" I said. "Woah you really allowed someone to make a nickname for you hu~" Una said. "It's just a nickname" Berry said. "Is something wrong with a nickname?" I asked. "Oh not really" Bela said. "It's just brother never let's us create a nickname for him~" Una said. "Shut up" Berry said. "Berry have you kept the bear?" I asked. "Yeah, it's in my bag why?" He asked. "Cause Westy said you thrown it. I guess she is joking again" I said. "Who is Westy?" Ger asked. "My friend!" I said. "Westy? Is that a country" Arti asked. "Yeah her name is Western Germany" I said and they all looked at me. "What?" I asked. "Sunshine, are you joking?" Berry said. "No? Why?" I asked and they were wide eyed. "Where did you met her?" Arti asked. "At the park in Asia" I said. "Do you need a therapist Ruby?" Greg asked. "No why?" I asked. "We are gonna talk about this at home" Arti said. I was so confused. Westy is our cousin too

We arrived at home and we were welcomed by the maids. They helped get our bags out. We then said our good byes. "Good bye guys!" I said. "See you at school girl!" Una said and they left. Ger also left using his car.

We go inside and putted our bags in our room. When I was finnish unpacking, I then remembered that I got choose in the BOTB. I then get my books and started to study on Maths since BOTB is random topic. It could be history, geography, math, biology, Chemistry and more. I get

As I was writing, my brother's came into my room. "Philia, let's have a talk" Arti said. I took off my headphones and put it on the table. "What is it?" I asked. "Let's talk in the living room" Greg said. The three of us then go to the living room while our guards were following us. We arrived and Kuya Arti requested the guards to leave and they obeyed. We sat in the sofa and talk. "Cupcake. You can really see Western Germany?" Arti asked and I nod. "Something wrong?" I asked. "Ruby...Western Germany...Was... Dead a long time ago" Greg said and my heart was pumping so fast. "W-what?" I said. "We need to get you a therapist" Arti said. "No kuya! I don't want a therapist!" I said. "But this situation is concerning. This might leave you to something like losing your mind" Greg said. "Really Kuya, I would't need a therapist" I said. If I get a therapist, they might know about my depression. "Cupcake, we concerned. You just can't stay like this" Arti said. "I promise I'll be okay" I said. "Are you sure?" Arti asked. "Yes. I'm sure" I said. "Okay then. But if something is happening to you call us okay?" Greg said and I nod. "Also. Upgrade your weapons and bunkers" Arti said. "Why?" I asked. "Just incase" Arti said. "Should I increase my military rate?" I asked. "Your already high in military rate. Your low on weapons and bunkers so work on that first" Arti said. "Okay brother" I said. "Why were you studying?" Greg asked. "I got in the Battle Of The Brains" I said. "I knew you'll get there. You have a brain of a genius" Greg said. "Am I the only one who didn't got into the Battle Of The Brains?" Arti asked. "He's because the principal said that time that you are more good at being an athlete and in our year the Basketball Team is missing a member so they picked you" Greg said. "To be honest I didn't really wanted to join that contest. All you do is battle the brains. I might be smart but I don't like showing it" Arti said. "Wait. Kuya Greg you have gotten into the BOTB before?" I asked. "Yeah. My winning trophies are in my room" Greg said. "How many contest did you won?" I asked. "Maybe two for high school and three for elementary" He said. "Wait you didn't join in Middle School?" Arti asked. "I did join I had two wins like I said from before" Greg said. "Bro this school is American system not Filipino system" Arti said. "Oh my bad. Elementary is Kindergarten to grade 5. Middle school is at grade 6 to grade 8 while High school is at 9-12 and Senior is grade 12 right?" Greg asked. "Yes. How come you don't know that your already college" Arti said. "In all my life I though we are living in our own School Style and its American Style?" Greg said. "Yeah" Arti said. "How did I just know that right now" Greg said. To be honest I just knew it too. In my country High School begins with Grade 7 to Grade 10 so I guess I'm not high school, I guess I'm in middle school. "I have to study now bro's" I said. "Do you want some snacks?" Arti said. "Yes please" I said. "Alright would you like cookies and milk?" Greg said. "Can I have Chicharon?" I said. "Sure" Greg said. "yes" I whispered. I then get up stairs to study for the contest.

I arrived at my room. I close the door behind me without locking it incase the maid would bring me my snacks. I out on my headphones again and listened to K-pop. The song is named Shout Out by Enhypen. I listen to other K-pops too actually, not only BTS.

Someone then knocked at the door. I opened it and saw the maid handing me the Chicharon on a plate with vinegar. "Here is your snack Miss Philippines" She said. "Thank you" I said and get the plate. She left and I close the door. I put the snack on the table with the books and continued to study while eating.
