(Hellloooooo, no it isn't a mistake that this chapter isn't numbered. These unnumbered chapters are going to be background. While not particularly necessary to read, they will provide great context on Reia's origins and her impact on other characters. If you couldn't tell, this chapter will focus on the events directly before, during, an after order 66. All background chapters containing memories of Reia will be things that she remembers via dark side. So without further adieu, grab your tissues and have fun folks!)

~ 19 BBY ~

Footsteps echo down the long hallways, bouncing off the tall ceilings and spiraling pillars of the great temple of peace. Obi-Wan makes his way back to his quarters, laughing as a little toddler runs up excitedly to hug his legs before he picks her up. "Well I missed you too in the 2 ½ hours I was gone."

Her smile is wide as the galaxy itself, little baby teeth proudly on show for her father as she brings a hand up to grab his beard. "Too long."

Sighing, he adjusts her on his hip, taking a seat on the bed as he gives his daughter his full attention. "Well papa has a very important mission to go on."

Before he can continue, the little girl immediately shakes her head, letting out a long high pitched noooooooooo as she wraps her arms around her father's neck.

"I know, I know. But remember when papa told you about big bad general greeves?" he pulls her away to give her an anticipating look.

"Greev bad!" she raises her voice, flapping her arms in exaggeration.

"Yes, Greev very bad. And papa's going to go capture him, and make the galaxy safe again." he taps her nose, making her eyes cross for a moment before she comes to a conclusion. "Then I see Cal again?"

Nodding his head, Obi-Wan gives her a smile, "Yes, then you can see Cal again. Once papa gets General Greevs we can make the galaxy safe again. And Cal and Master Tapal will come back to the temple."

Her smile returns, eyes shining as her hands fly into the air. "YAAAYY!"

Upon seeing her excitement, Obi-Wan decides to bargain with the little toddler, "So you're going to have to wait here for papa, but when I come back, I'll set up a time for you to see Cal. Deal?"

Lifting her head up in pretend thought for a moment, Reia finally gives him a nod, sticking her hand out for a shake, to which he returns with a smile. "Deal."

~ Utapau ~

Dogging blaster bolts and explosions with expert practice, Obi-Wan skids his mount next to a clone Commander in white and yellow armor. The deafening noise of the battlefield forcing the Jedi Master to yell, "Commander, contact your troops. Tell them to move to the higher levels!"

The clone nods to the General, "Very good sir," but before he lets tha man ride away, he grabs something on his belt. "Oh by the way, I think you'll be needing this."

Recognizing the familiar shine of the silver metal, Obi-Wan takes the hilt with gratitude. "Thank you Cody, now let's get a move on, we've got a battle to win here."

And with the snap of the lead, he rides off and up the side of the cavern. Completely out of earshot by the time a dark hooded figure appears on the clone's beeping holo-communicator and says the three harrowing words that would change the fate of the galaxy forever. "Commander Cody, the time has come...Execute Order 66."
