Max was talking to Horner as they were preparing for the race later, when he noticed one of the driver of the new red & gold team talking to her team principal outside of the Porsche paddock. It was still a mystery to everyone who the driver is, as she arrived at the venue in full incognito mode. Sebastian arriving with her seems to be their tactic to make the media talk about his presence more—which is pretty smart, he must admit. Many media thought that Sebastian was coming back to drive for Porsche, until he gestured to the lady in front of him and said that he's her race engineer.
To say it was a shock, would be an understatement.
"How did they do during the qualifying? I never saw the results." He gestured to the pair outside. The woman's identity was still concealed, and nobody knows what she look like—same as their male driver. Despite a few strands hair peaking out of her hat, Max was sure that it was just a blonde wig to cover her actual hair. How would he know that? He has no idea. Call it an inkling, if you will. "Must admit, they have good pacing—might rival McLaren. Car was fast, ended in P6 and 7. I'd say we might get good competition this season." He heard Christian said. Their attention was hooked to the duo outside, who, are now joined by the Porsche male driver and Sebastian Vettel. "How about the drivers? Any idea who they are?"
"Still no idea who the woman is—could be one of the Academy drivers. Though for the guy, it might be Oliver Bearman."
Turning his attention to his team principal, he looked at him with a shocked look. "Ollie? I thought he was still with Ferrari and in F2." he questioned. Christian shrugged and said, "Didn't renew his contract with the Reds and he was not announced by Prema this season. Antonelli and Leclerc, are now driving for them in F2. Also, I'm pretty sure I just saw his race engineer enter their building hours ago—So, just maybe. They're not as secretive with him, unlike the other driver."
Max looked back to the woman and to his surprise, she is looking to his direction as well. Despite not knowing who she is, she seems to be very familiar to him. Too familiar, in fact. The Redbull driver has an inkling who this person could be, but at the same time, he's wishing he was wrong. After all, why would she come back now after all these years?

Sitting in her car, waiting for the season's start, she felt a soft buzz from her radio. "Are you ready?" A voice came through. She gave a small laugh as she heard the familiar voice of a certain German. "Exciting but nervous at the same time. I've been waiting forever for this."
"I know you have, so don't forget to enjoy it too. First race is very special to a driver—make them know who you are. I believe on you, A. You wouldn't be in this position if you weren't deserved of it" If she wasn't about to race, she'd be sobbing by now. After all the pain and suffering she endured after that incident years ago, she was given another chance to make her mark in the world—and best belief, she'll make sure they'll hear her name. "Thanks, Seb." And with that, the lights went off and the race has started.
"It's lights out and away we go for the Bahrain Grand Prix!"
